Cause entropy can't be decreased in any system. If you radiate heat, something needs to replace that heat energy, if you burn calories you need more of them.

I get that you're trying to think of a clever way to say "regen sucks", but the second law of thermodynamics isn't violated just because regen exists.

Two basic ideas:
* Entropy within an isolated system can never decrease and (in all "real" situations) will in fact always increase.
* Entropy in kinda layman's terms is the tendency for the "small" to mimic the "large". Take an ice cube that you put in a room-temperature environment. The "small" will be the ice cube and the areas closely surrounding; the large will be the entire room. Eventually, the small will become like the large: the ice will melt as its temperature lowers, it will spread out over the floor, etc.

The main issue is that it's clear how the regeneration works. By some rather fucky science, regeneration could "work" with 2nd law, as long as the materials used for the regen come from somewhere that actually exists. Quantum physics kinda allows for retardation like that, even if it's practically a load of garbage.

Almost. Her power wasn't about regrowing Agni but rather about stopping the flames on his head (She did it back on the tree too). Then she was able to remove the blessing core in his head which is the source of his regen. Once removed, the core regenerated a new Agni but without his memories because they remained in the old Agni's brain who just died.
