Remove his Kamui and he is just an above average Ninja at best

Obito is blessed with one of the most overpowered jutsu in Naruto.
His MS is Op as fuck even among other sharingans (lets not forget Kakashi’s eye is his). The ability to become a ghost who can’t get hit with almost nothing. I unironically believe he could fuck up Pain and Itachi if he felt like it.
He also has Hashirama cells which allow him to spam this power, which in theory would ruin his eyes, whenever he feels like it. Also it gives him super strength, super speed and even more chakra.
Give this combination of powers to an average as fuck Shinobi. Lets say the two guys who work at Konoha’s door, and they would also be Op as fuck.

Kakashi has bigger than normal chakra reserves, Kamui just sucks up a ton and other characters have as much chakra as myriads of normal shinobi

He literally fought 1v1 against kakashi without kamui. He'd still be top tier with just the normal sharingan.
What did naruto create?, all he did was inject wind chakra into his father technique.
It's more that he relies on the Sharingan, Rinnegan, and H-Roids. Kakashi has eyehacks and relies on it, but a huge thing with Madara and Obito is that they literally depend entirely on eyehacks.
It was obvious from the start that Tobi was Obito, but literally anything else would have been better.

It's true that Rasengan is the base, but any random shinobi injecting wind chakra into it isn't going to automatically turn it into a giant shuriken that will damage someone on a cellular level. The Rasenshuriken is all Naruto.

That's because he's secretly talented as fuck, particularly at eyehax jutsu. He also employed six paths jinchuriki with efficiency right after acquiring Rinnegan, and put one of the Kage under strong enough genjutsu to basically be his puppet. Just having eyepowers doesn't necessarily make one incredibly strong. The sharingan is by all means a big power-up and MS even more, but there were plenty of Uchiha who weren't particularly proficient with it. Itachi is an example akin to Obito - although Itachi is more generally talented, his true strength relies in his naturally ability with the sharingan. This is why Obito was essentially a late bloomer until unlocking his sharingan, which by nature is also linked to loss and emotional pain.
He also summoned the Gedo Statue that was inside Obito, used eye techniques without eyes, and was high on H-Roids and stole Hashi's Sage Juice.
He's overrated for sure.

Does anyone get a very surreal feeling when rewatching shippuden scenes of Tobi and realizing it was Obito all along? like he has been present for most of the series (even though it was obvious) but I never really wrapped my mind around it until the mask got broken.
It's very hard to explain but it feels weird.
remove kamui and he still has half of his body made out of HASHIRAMA CELLS which means he can regenerate those parts and can use wood style. that alone still puts him above most fodder ninja
he destroyed the fuck out of a bunch of elite ninja from the mist village. yeah they couldn't hit him because of kamui, but he was just punching them and making fucking trees rip their bodies apart.
He has some really broken Wood-Style moves.

He wanted Kakashi to stab his heart which contained the seal.
Even without Kamui he still has a MS which puts him in the top 1% of ninja. He's also fast in movement and reaction speed as he kept up with Minato when he attacked Konoha and everyone else in the war. Then there's also wood style and his uchiha flame formation which trapped the 8 tails which are both Kage level jutsu. So even with a MS without Kamui he is Kage level.
Wood Stye, Uchiha Flame formation and his Fire Style was on par with Madaras.
