What the fuck I just found out that my parents' country has dubbed Heartcatch. And everything looks pretty faithful to the original, the OP is basically a one to one translation. Wish I could find episodes online. Also Cure Blossom is called "the Cure of Blossoms" but it's hard to tell how retarded it would sound in dialogue.

The FW dub is old though. The Glitter Force dub had Yes and Doki Doki.

I hope not. Seems to be a byproduct of translating word for word. Don't look up the ED it's even worse. From what I remember as a kid they would always drag out the lines in normal dialogue by giving randm eeh's and ah's, making everyone sound like they had adhd.
For example Sailor Moon's dub OP is pretty good but they rewrote the lyrics

It genuinely, honestly doesn't. They never dub anything in any English but American or British English because many accents, including Australian, just sound odd for extended periods of time.

The male dub voice for the trailer isn;t at all good, I would have preferred a girl. Hearing "1,2,3,4,5 Precure 5" come from a manly English voice actor was weird as fuck. And hearing his slow and strange pronunciation on "Nozomi" was odd too,

It's probably one of those in-company pitch things. I doubt a trailer for a tv show would go on for 3 whole minutes.

I think it's fine for a tailor narration. And I have no idea why anyone would have any trouble pronouncing Nozomi, but for some reason it seems like dubbers always do names like that oddly.
