Aliens are the only thing that I have that truly terrifies me. I'm not bothered by ghosts or supernatural or anything like that, but the thought of an alien lurking in the mundane world, especially at night, is the most horrible thing. I have spent many nights looking up UFOs and alleged encounters of aliens and it has scared the life out of me. I think the scene with the alien in Lain is the most impactful moment of the series because what it represents can easily outclass anything else. I promise I'm not a schizophrenic.
