Part 3 is best and 2 is bottom-tier generic trash

Part 1 is simple but short which makes up for its concepts since it can ride through style and idea strength.
Part 2 has the weakest characters and story and that brings it to the bottom for me. I still enjoy it though.
Parts 3 and 4 have good bits but many things I dislike. Still good, of course, just a lot messier. I'd say Part 4 is stronger.
Part 5 is the most consistently well-written and manages to basically do everything well. The weaker bits are few and minor.
Part 6 has the best ideas and highs in terms of writing. The flawed bits are there but the good bits are better than any other JoJo part.
Part 7 is also pretty consistent. I think it has more clumsy bits and a weaker antagonist than parts 5 and 6 but it's a very solid journey with the best main character dynamic in the series.

JoJo part wars are such low-hanging fruit, literally the easiest, most banal effort attempt at trolling you can attempt besides wojakspam and "do X really" threads

part 5 looks better to me solely by the fact that it doesn't have the ugly simpsons artstyle of 4.

Each part can appeal to different people. If you like battles, Part 3 and 5 are for you, if you like complex stories built on layers and layers, Part 8 is for you, if you like PASSION and "women wouldn't understand this feeling", Part 7 is for you, if you like SoL, Part 4 is for you. Trying to rank them against one another as if one is superior to the other because it embraces one specific genre is stupid, unless you just rank them as per your personal preference.
