Apparently you didn't see the chart. As soon as BTC topped $12K there was a MASSIVE bot-initiated short-selling collapse. Slammed it down into the $10K zone for a few seconds before it recovered to around $11.3K.
The botnet traders have been pulling this crap for years. There's no "just set a stop loss" because by the time your stop-loss gets activated the price has dropped hundreds below it and you STILL have to make up for that.
These are not smoothly-trading liquid investments. They are barely-traded highly illiquid gambling. If you want to fuck around with margins and leveraged trading, you are as likely to get killed as you are to make zillions.
But what do I know, I just went long and hodled since 2014.
