Deku is a goddamn idiot who should have just retreated from the very beginning instead of charging in like a retard towards the one guy who is able to take his power away from him. His reckless actions have now caused the death of Gran Torino and the maiming of his childhood friend and the current #1 hero. He could have at the very least used his legs primarily for his attacks, but instead he lets his feelings get the better of him and without any rational thought decides to make sure his arms are forever unusable in exchange for multiple 100% strength attacks that is not guaranteed to defeat the villain.
