Is all gookshit doomed from the start?

Have you guys finally realized that writters who try to make animesque stories have a superficial understanding of why people like anime? They cram their stories of as much anime-like storybeats as possible because that's all they perceive anime to be. A bunch of cliques and tropes.
Remember how Teen Titans tried to be animesque because the characters did anime faces all the time, even when they didn't match the scene or emotion? That's how Korean, French anime feels like all the time.

a lot of the students i work with that watch anime i'm pretty sure have a vrv sub so i'd imagine they're at least somewhat willing

ATLA is better than 99% of anime though.

Not if they start animating really popular ones like I Am The Sorcerer King or Solo leveling and Chinese wuxia ones like Battle Through the heavens and shit. People seem to love those overpowered hero from the beginning type of story's. Probably has something to do with self insertion.

ToG was a solid 5/10.
GoH is hard to rate, basically a 8/10 on the visuals, a 1/10 on literally everything else.

Exactly my point. For all that Teen Titans or Avatar rip off from anime, the stories don't and they're coesive enough to know were they're going with. They have no obvious anime cliches or tropes like a story about martial arts suddently becoming about super powers because anime has those things. Korean or French shit like GOHS or Radiant feel fake because they're written like a weeb putting shit he liked from anime into his animesque story because other anime had it.
TLDR: Korean shit has no coesion and feels like the writter was throwing anime cliche after anime cliche at a wall to see what sticks.
