nobody cares

Yes, we do. Bad working conditions tend to translate into sloppy animation. Not that fans of Toei shows would notice the difference.

Fuck off faggot, yes we do.

Toei had it coming for a very long, they're a shit company to work for. Hopefully something good comes out of it this time.

Well that's unfortunate since their own staff supposedly have it pretty good. Guess freelance workers tend to get the short end of the stick in any part of the world eh?

Isn't Toei the only anime studio that has a union for animators?

>own staff supposedly have it pretty good
Do they? I've only ever heard of kyani doing that.

Why would you want an employer to run a union?

so basically the filipinos are revolting...
again, who cares?

Protesting has never worked in the entire world's history what a waste of time.

>Animators in the anime industry are treated like slaves
Tell us something we don't know.

go die during work

nobody cares about you retard

It works when you do more than just standing around waving signs and yelling on megaphones.

TL;DR

>i'll post a bunch of random links without context, that'll show them

toeilab.co.jp/digital.html

haha

>another raid thread
Nobody cares about wageslaves.

but the context is implied to be 'look at these examples of sloppy animation"...

>opens one link, its just office equipment
I played myself didn't I

explains why their productions look like such garbage.

The main reason is affected by the number of key animations
TOEI has a strict limit on the number of key animations for TV animation
The key animation of each episode in the 90s cannot exceed 2500
Before 2010, the key animation of each episode cannot exceed 3000
After 2010, the key animation of each episode cannot exceed 4000
Although the restrictions are gradually relaxed, it is still below the average level of high-quality late night animation

Is the reason behind this is to keep the labor cost down from drawing too many animation frames?

those who do not fear the succession of plebs will have nothing to eat in their ivory towers but each other, tovarich.

Meh, if employees and freelancers get treated equally then there would be no reason to be an employee. It is normal to get unequal treatment.

This is not a sentence, or a person for that matter.

This is what a mindbreak victim looks like.

Not really.
While more key animations will cost them more, it will probably require more animators to work on the same episode, which means each animator gets the same, but there are more animators for each episode.
Plus this would require more work from inbetweeners and colorists, which will probably make them hire more people instead of overworking the workers they have.

Based schizophrenic.

If you were ever binded by a contract to work for one company, would you find it fair if the freelancers gets as much advantages as you?

And? If they don't like it they can go work on something else or for someone else, good luck with that by the way. Why would a "parttimer" be treated equally as your actual team to begin with? As said nobody is going to care except twitterspammers.

Not anime.
