Why can't Trigger consistently make good anime? It seems like they put out 1 good show for every 5 or 6 bad ones. Some of them are so bad that I don't even remember the name after they stop airing.
Out of everything they've released I think the only ones I actually liked were Little Witch Academia, Kill la Kill, Uchuu Patrol Luluco, Inferno Cop, and Promare.
Just kind of seems like they're wasting their animation talent on bad original stories when they could be animating stuff like Dungeon Meshi.
Basically any studio should be able to animate Dungeon Meshi properly. Kui's style is pretty basic for lack of a better term, and lends itself to animation. You can only fuck it up if you put no talent behind it or you make retarded decisions like making the monsters and food CG

If we were still in the 2000s, maybe. What TV anime did they actually do in the last decade? >Gainax was consistently good untilthey weren't anymore You probably didn't understand the question, buddy.
Maybe because relying on original stories is part of their identity In my opinion, it's better to have Trigger doing original stuff, else, Promare wouldn't have come to existence
Aiden Hughes
Nah they were pretty good but they burned themselves out Earthsea What did JC Staff do in the last decade? Madoka? What else? I literally can't remember anything by them I like Bones but it has made some pretty unmemorable stuff
Caleb Anderson
>You probably didn't understand the question, buddy. You can't say that after you just made the claim about 2000's Madhouse.
Luke Cooper
Are you sure about that? Maybe read the posts again?
Production IG when it actually did anything at all.
Liam Ward
Somewhat applies since they do Haikyuu but I don't remember any other shows besides it, so I can't say they make consistently good shows. >They did Prince of Tennis Oh. Nevermind then.
>Two shows in a decade What about the rest of the decade? How is that "consistently make good anime"?
Jeremiah Lopez
Yep.

>Out of everything they've released I think the only ones I actually liked were Little Witch Academia, Kill la Kill, Uchuu Patrol Luluco, Inferno Cop, and Promare. Immense shit taste
