I just binge watched all of Overlord in 2 days. Season 4 when?
I personally thought it was kino. Its honestly the only isekai that i've enjoyed. The MC being the bad guy makes for interesting scenarios I haven't seen before. I also like the overpowered powerfantasy aspect of it all. Also Mare best girl.
I also just finished binge watching this series and started season 1 only earlier this week. Strange coincidence. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I was working through all of the series for Isekai Quartet and this was the last.

Might do the same. I despise Re:Zero but I haven't given Tanya's show a try. Is it any good?
Elijah King
Tanya is also good in a similar vein. Left me wanting some more. Not sure about the hate for Re:Zero though.
Jose Taylor
i think its dun
Jordan James
Subaru isn't a charming MC. Ains and Kazuma at least have moments where they steal the show, unlike Subaru.

Edgy shit with dumb characters, worst isekai i have ever seen, and i watched the smartphone one.
Cameron Davis
Are you me? I literally did the exact same thing. I should read the LNs eventually, since they seem to be the source material. Should I start off at the point where the anime ends, or at the beginning?
>Mare best girl You mean Aura? Unless you know Mare's a boy
Oddly enough, I actually liked the CGI animation, even though most people wouldn't. Probably because it seemed quaint.
Landon Garcia
Tanya is good if you like Overlord
Jack Fisher
I tried it but MC is too much of a hypocrite for me. He claimed he’s just trying to protect the great tomb from “threats” but we know that’s just pure bullshit. On top of that, he really sickened me when he cosplayed as a hero. I just hope it end badly, something like his guild members also reincarnate but end up killed by him indirectly.
Jace Baker
Heard the smartphone one was particularly trash. True?

>nothing happens: the anime I was excited through the entire first season. I was excited FOR the second season. Then it came and the plot barely moved. Then the second season came and it was a complete shitshow of QUALITY. Now you're asking for more of this? Sorry, but no. They should re-do the third season, if anything. Maybe reformat the entire anime to be more interesting to watch.
The best approach would be to throw it into the trash bin of history and just find some new anime that would appeal to Overlord fans while at the same time being all-around better.
Luis Moore
Overlord should have ended with season 1. That manga with lufasu angel is overlord done right.
Christopher Wright
Third season in when shit FINALLY happens and he finally establishes the Kingdom tho
Oliver Sanchez
It has its moments

lufasu series drops the ball at the end. the author loves repeating himself with useless analogies.
Juan Barnes
>subaru is the good guy anyone can win user
Ayden Jones
zero's kind of painful. i'm watching it but still HUG BEATO YOU JERK!
Angel Moore
Isn't Ainz fucking up foresight in season 2 though? That's literally the highpoint of the entire series. (Ah, shit. It's season 3. Yeah it might not have been worth it)
Have you guys read the LN? It has been all downhill since Clementine's hug and the Shalltear fight in S1. Great concept, absolutely terrible execution.
Isaac Nelson
Without spoilers, is it because the characters start acting weird or because there's only one direction the plot can go with how everything is setup?
Thomas Williams
>watched
Joshua Butler
There is literally no conflict besides Ainz worrying about what his subordinates think of him. Ainz brute forces or luckshits his way through everything. So basically everything from S1 stretched out just through different plot points. There is literally one interesting plot point involving an Albedo hit squad but it hasn't gone anywhere from what I remember.
So it's a story of internal conflict instead of the traditional big bad antagonist. Not enough to write it off
Grayson Sanchez
No, it wishes it was that deep. Again, the author toys with some interesting concepts but they're surface level at best. I guess the best thing for you to do is just read it yourself. I used to be really excited about Overlord until I read it, now I hope it never gets another season/ova/movie because I know its just a huge disappointment.
