The film adaptation of this, is a perfectly serviceably enjoyable thriller.

That woman's melodrama is weaponized, practically thrillers.

I wish she was real, I really and truly do.
The series is an un-directed mess but it combines violence, sexual elements and melodrama in a way I can't escape.

As for what I'd like adapted, plenty of full on adaptations of old shoujo manga, anything by Kaori Yuki or a full adaptation of Basara or Kare Kano.
