As someone who few up on Funimation dbz I found jap Goku strange as fuck when I watched dbz kai but once I got to super it started to click after a few episodes. Most of the jap cast is pretty good. It's kinda weird to me that Jap and funi vegeta and piccolo have similar sounds/vibes
