Nipland has a high suicide rate among developed countries. It's mostly adult men though, and not teenagers and students, though those do happen as well. South Korea has it worse in that regard. Japan has more of a problem with bullying, shit teachers, and stigma concerning mental health issues, so even if it doesn't lead to teens killing themselves that much, it certainly doesn't help their overall well-being.
