My hero is a terrible shonen, and it's not just because of the "Deku is a bad MC/cuck" memes. The plot structure is horrible, the world building makes no sense, the arcs are disjointed to the point of feeling like filler. In fact Deku might be the least of my hero problems, the series is so bad on so many levels that i can't even begin to care whethere he is a good or bad MC.
it's puts shame on all the good shonen that preceeded it, shonen jump has really gone to shit.
Then prove you can make it better. You are just imagining a better version of BNHA that certainly disregards several aspects considered by Hori. If I were so sure of what I say, I could prove it easily. Since you can't, you just complain. Just prove that you would do something better in a concrete way, so that we do not enter the field of imagination, as you are doing.
Brayden Perez
Onepunch-man is capeshit done right. BNHA is rave master ripoff in capeshit setting. It exists for a sole purpose of talentless hack Hori milking capeshit trend.
Thomas Cooper
>The plot structure is horrible, the world building makes no sense, the arcs are disjointed to the point of feeling like filler. In fact MC might be the least of my hero problems, the series is so bad on so many levels that i can't even begin to care whethere he is a good or bad MC. You could say this about any series lol
If this is the level of your arguementation, then it's obvious why you would like My hero.
Isaiah Diaz
Made great discovery recently. The trurth is MHA was never any good, mostly for whats pointed out here. But it was All Might who carried whole manga on his shoulders (literally) and his greatness overshine all shortcomings. And once he was gone, everything fell apart.
Tyler Flores
First off, I wouldn't make it a shounen since that's incredibly cringe. Second, I'd make actual decent characters and not some generic ass Naruto rip off who goes from weak cuck to overpowered cuck (even talking about is cringe) Then I'd make an actually decent world building, not some retarded rushed shit
Benjamin Flores
>All might carried the manga. Yeah for like the 5 minutes he's on screen.
Jordan Jackson
How about removing the 20 something classmates who neve do anything? The rookie 11 in Naruto had more development in a single arc than these "characters" did in 300 chapters.
Joshua Brown
>CAN YOU MAKE IT BETTER OOGA BOOGA LOOGA
Jesus Christ, every goddam time this argument. Do you have to be a good or terrible cook to know delicious dishes from bad ones? For fucks sake this is like the 'go to' response to critique on the internet. Euthanize yourself.
Now OP, please expand on what you mean that the "world building makes no sense, arcs are disjointed" etc because those are pretty general statements that could be applied to anything too as said.
Any other level of argument does not present solid arguments. As I said, the person who imagines an improved version of a manga disregards several factors considered by the creator. Until the person definitively proves that he created a better story, with better story techniques, the original creator has the best version. It is very easy to say that someone did something bad, it happens in everything. What is not easy is someone doing better to prove their point.
If I said that you live a shitty life, even though I did less than you, what merit would I have to criticize you? I would be disregarding several factors that involved your life and that led you to where you are.
Angel Taylor
Hori tried to copy naruto, but failed miserably just like what user Said
Kayden Kelly
Shut the fuck up, pretentious fucking faggot. >hurr hurr u-u got corona?? >try medicine >doesnt work >h-how about you make a better one then? That's how braindead you sound, stop embarrassing yourself, dumb fuck.
Colton Russell
My hero is mind numbingly bad. Hiro resolves arcs almost as soon as their introduced. His absolute lack of patience makes my hero a story without any drama because all conflicts are wrapped as soon as possible.
Juan Green
If you consider the genre to be "cringe", then your perspective is limited and unable to analyze all the elements. Your feeling already makes you not want to understand that. That is, it limits you. If you are limited by yourself to understanding the shonen genre, how do you want to determine what is best for it?
David Parker
Honestly I've never heard a single valid criticism of BNHA other than "WAHHH I DON'T LIKE IT", which isn't even an argument.
As I said, it is better to prove to be better. In the eyes of the critic, there will always be a flaw. In the eyes of those who understand, there will always be understanding. Concepts of good and bad are subjective. Note that the OP itself considers shonen as a bad and "cringe" genre, that is, for him any shonen element is not worth much.
Noah Turner
cringe
Colton Perez
>world building makes no sense Every faction in this world has no sense of weight to it, Hiro tries to create a dynamic between the police, politicians and heroes but it all feels so superficial, like what do the police even do? the politicians like to say a few lines every now and than " The heroes are doing slopy job we will discredit them" and then nothing comes off it. the politics side might as well not exist because it adds nothing to the story. >arcs are disjointed this is self explanotary, there are arcs in My hero that you could skip and miss on absolutely nothing. Stain arc for example, liscenece exam arc is another one.
Dylan Ortiz
Now you are shitting up. He is always around in early years, and without him it would never really picked up in the first place and proly be long axed.
Jayden Rogers
The Stain arc is the most important arc in the early part of the manga. It's clear you have no idea what you're talking about.
Eli Williams
>shut up If you are on a discussion site, why do you want to silence others? Does reading contrary opinions hurt you?
What you quoted only validates my opinion. The person with a corona should consult doctors, who consult medicine. The person who disagrees with doctors and medicine, should look for an alternative way to fight the corona. And prove that it works. In the same way, doctors, who dispute among themselves the studies to find ways to fight the corona. The average person, without knowledge of medicine, will not have the understanding that a doctor has about health, because he studied for many years to know what he knows.
James Watson
Bakugo is annoying as fuck, why the hell do people even like him?
>Best character development: Bakugo as a MHA-cuck I'll say this is obvious bait
Henry Robinson
If you were able to analyze rationally, you would understand the value of each manga. But you are all driven by emotions, so only emotions can determine the value you create about a manga.
Easton Bailey
characters with common sense
William Anderson
Literally nothing came of it, Stain "exposed" the hypocrisy in the hero world through heavily handed exposition and shouting slogans that makes no sense, we are later told again through exposition that this changed the face of the world, but cone next arc everything is the same.
Charles Murphy
in a shonen? i doubt it
Jonathan Butler
My hero has very much overstayed its welcome, it peakd in the first arc.
Aiden Carter
The Stain arc is fucking dogshit and made me drop the series.
Alexander Jackson
Stain was worst retarded part yet. Dumb people pretend its deep to look smart, while smart people who understand language can realize what he screamed doesnt make any sense within conditions of their world.
