Both had potential that was ultimately wasted by typical Japanese pessimistic cliches.

Retard

Steins;Gate VN > Madoka Series > Steins;Gate Series > Steins;Gate Movie > Madoka Rebellion > Steins;Gate 0 > Magia Record

Oh, easily Okabe. He's a great character.

S;G easily

Madoka and Steins;Gate are not even in the same category.
The IQ required to understand Madoka is so high that Steins;Gate isn't even interesting anymore at that point.

Good one.

Madoka instantly falls apart when you realise that the plot could have been resolved in episode fucking 1 with Madoka wishing for salvation, instead of going on "Homura's Simping Adventure".

The eagles are proud animals and as such they're very susceptible to the ring's power.

name the equivalent to that in madoka, saruman of the crayon colors

It's true. Steins Gate is literally just boring at that point. All the "muh complexity", is easily followed with simple logic, and there is noting cool or novel about it. Everything that remains at that point is a bunch of retarded people freaking out over their own mistakes.
And once you look at the narrative from a meta perspective it just completely falls apart.

Madoka is built from the ground up to be viewed from the meta perspective and the narrative itself is not even the main point. If you do not appreciate Madoka for it's complex interweb of meta narratives, then you are simply looking at it from the wrong perspective, and it is only natural that you will not get so much out of it then.
Best example is something like this: Let's start by saying that this is wrong, and there are many reasons why.
That is not the point. This is like saying: The bible could be resolved in psalm 1, if Jesus was just killed as a child by Herod and died for our sins right then and there. See how stupid that sounds?

She had no reason to do that

This is the end point of plotfaggotry fml.
"lol why does the story exist?"

>story is written so shit that there's a gaping hole in it right from the getgo

You have to be 18+ to post on Zig Forums.

Madoka the series ends with a tragedy. Madoka sacrifices herself again like in every timeline before that, and leaves Homura with no more options to bring her back.
How was anything resolved with that?
And why on earth would Homura tell Madoka to do this in episode 1? The whole plot was about Homura preventing Madoka from doing this.
And if you think that Madoka chose a bad wish, and could have wished for something else, then you simply do not understand her character and why she chose precisely that.
If you actually paid attention, then you would notice that Madoka wanted to wish for QB to never come to earth at first, but then realized that this wouldn't work for a certain very obvious reason.
Only because somethings are not explicitly spelled out and fed to you does not mean that they aren't there.

>All the "muh complexity", is easily followed with simple logic
Okay, tell me how was Okabe able to change the past simply by not even sending a D-mail, just deleting something from a database, simply doing a normal action.
GO ON, since it's so "simple"
>Everything that remains at that point is a bunch of retarded people freaking out over their own mistakes
More like only Okabe due to his dilemma.
>Madoka is built from the ground up to be viewed from the meta perspective and the narrative itself is not even the main point
Yeah, by making the dumbest, most inconsistent characters ever.
>If you do not appreciate Madoka for it's complex interweb of meta narratives, then you are simply looking at it from the wrong perspective
What are you talking about? The show does whatever it can (forcing characters to act out of nature, random personality shift, etc...) to get the plot going, it's inconsistent as fuck and Madoka is the most blatant proof of that.

Don't waste your time with this cringelord mane.

>What are you talking about?
Yes, that's what I am talking about, you just have proven with what you wrote that you do not understand what I am referring to. So how would you then be able to understand Madoka?

>no argument
There's simply nothing to understand. How about you provide an example for this so-renowned "complex interweb of meta narratives"?

both arent that good but is bearable but has a shit tier main protag so there“s that.
Also madoka is overrated shit and babys first edge

I even enjoyed Re:Zero more cause the worldbuilding is superior

>just deleting something from a database
Without looking anything up, as I watched the show years ago, as far as I remember CERN was going to develop the time machine in the future and by changing their database, they caused CERN to change the past in the future in some way, reactively affecting the timeline (or the timeline was already affected by a future action of CERN and it was prevented, thereby changing the timeline by preventing an effect on the past, don't remember which one it was).

Madoka. As retarded as some of the characters are, their stories are actually told from beginning to end. Steins Gate puts a bunch of emphasis on the Okabe/Kurisu romance, then just kind of gets bored with it and fast-forwards to the end.

>change the past in the future in some way
>change the past in the future
Kek, what?
So you don't even know how Okabe changed the timeline without sending a D-mail, and you dare say "All the "muh complexity", is easily followed with simple logic"????

Do YOU even understand it?
Timeline A:

DAY 1XXX
CERN has database

DAY 2XXX
Database gets changed

DAY 3XXX
CERN changes past based on database

Timeline B:

Okabe affects Database at day 2XXX
-> CERN changes past based on affected database on day 3XXX
The past already changes on day 2 as the future changed, changing the past.

This is simple logic, or are you unable to follow this, retard?

Re:Zero

Madoka had the better anime, but as a VN, Steins;Gate trumps both the S;G and Madoka animes.

both of these losers.
