>What went wrong with Type-Moon? Based on that list, their founding.
Jackson Howard
Nothing. FGO, CCC and Extella are only good things that the retarded hack Takeuchi and his braindead wife Nasu has managed to create.
Anthony Howard
I guess Nasu finally found a medium where to put his ludicrous stories without having to write about shellfish porn to spice them up.
Jacob Jenkins
No new melty blood

>What went wrong >rogue visual novel company making games in a bedroom became a multi billion dollar franchise
What? If anything it's blown up into something none of us imagined was possible.
Eli Butler
It has sort of killed the VNs and made it "safe" 2bh, but on the other hand it means the tsukihime remake will get the biggest budget we've seen for a VN. Perhaps it'll be completely animated, though school days tried that and unless your in for the porn, it's not that great.
Everything went to shit after Nasu allowed ANYONE else to write for Fate. That means that the death of Fate (and TM in general) was when Zero was written.
Nah man, they haven't really registered just how much dough they now have to use on new things yet. That and the organisation likely grew massively since 2015. Hopefully Nasu is planning something, but the problem with having that much money now is that his potential is now limitless.
That's fucked with people in all forms of media in the past, particularly in the music industry. You get shocked from it. Seems counter-intuitive but it happens time and time again.
Colton Taylor
But none of that posed an issue until Urobutcher made Fate mainstream. He began working on Mahoyo while Zero was as popular as it was, so it was really how Zero catered to normalfags that Fate became more mainstream, at least in the west.
Colton Ward
Greed and coomer fate fans. They relised that you can put a sub-par product like fate/grand order and the cumbrain will throw endless money for cute wifu. Its an amazing combination of young/adult male lust/semi porn and gambling addiction rolled into one product.
Phone games that hit it well make so much money with so little invesment how could you not just say ye lets reprint saber 20 diffrent time they are keep buying it!
For me i was intrested in fate for the heroic spirit and how they thier values and fighting style effected a battle royal death. The masters and shirou "routes" were intresting, but not main intrest in my opinion.
Tsukihime is dead because they don't want to take a risk and fate "story telling" which contain so many intresting possblities is just wifu gambing simulator.
I think its a shame it came to this but the blame is on the fans that throw money at anything. They showed type/moon how they can put small effort for huge gains and its impossible for any company to let go of such huge bunch of suckers
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Nah man, the thing that changed type moon was definitely that multibillion dollar franchise called FGO. They went from "alternative" mainstream media to full mainstream media in a year. Suddenly you're in the big league.
Jose Butler
>coomer fate fans But removing porn from type-moon was a mistake. It brought in filthy normalfags.
Ye i didnt word it well enough, It brought normies in the motherload and probably alot of younger audiance. Im not against the ero sence in fate or tsukihime.
I just want intresting stories again. They constantly just do holy grail war over and over or w/e F/GO is (never played it) and it can be so much. I watched fate/apocrypha and it was the most generic anime you can get with charecters you an predict how they will act in 10-12 more episodes im not angry just dissappointed. So.... i moved on
Grayson Lopez
>normies sigh.
> I watched fate/apocrypha How? It was pretty bad, but for Jannu and he who shall not be named.
Fuck that boring ass charecter tho janne was intresting. >how you watched f/apocrypha
I forced myself i so wanted to get back into fate even when i saw all th stupid charecter clones/cat girl. And man it was horrible how can you make somthing so bad heroic spirit form legends and you reduce them to every anime trope for each charecter. Train reck
Now i got to ask why are fans so obsessed with that pink haired crossdresser? i just dont get it
Camden Hill
But shit like Zero paved the way for other writers to add their own garbage spinoffs to what Fate was. Before Zero, which was super great and handled very well, Fate was entirely one guy/girl's vision.
Cameron Rivera
Problem wasn't who was writing but the goal of story. I watched only 2 episodes of babylonia and it's goal only seem to cram as much fanservice in a form of a story with flashy-brainless fights.
When you tell someone "put this charcter from our games and just make it work". then you throw logic out the window and just go full "omg this will be so cool". It can be written well but its abit hard.
Also that mash and her master are so weird. They just have no personality just "well behaved children doing what the adult told me to do" too.... proper if you get my meaning. When they talk i feel like im reading/listening to children book/tale
Dude, Fate/Zero came out in 2006. You saying that the franchise died when Zero was written because the anime made half a decade later was popular with Western normalfags, which makes no sense.
Logan Nelson
>Now i got to ask why are fans so obsessed with that pink haired crossdresser? i just dont get it Dunno, for me it's Karna.
