Why is the basic premise for this series so fucking depressing? It's essentially about a group of girls who didn't get to grow up with their families because of an asshole Yokai who ruined their lives.
Even compared to Boruto, which implies that Naruto and Sasuke are dead at the beginning, I haven't felt depressed by a story in a long time
Which would be better, a bad start with a happy ending or a happy start with a bad ending?
I'm not a fan of this premise either but I can excuse it if they make the girls reunite with their parents, and not just for a short time until they leave again for some forced reason
My fear is that they're gonna end up killing Inuyasha, Kagome and Sesshomaru in the sequel.
