Kind of interesting how the anime was able to so effectively 1-4-1 the manga. Really is a shame that everything had to go wrong for Nichijou when it aired, otherwise it would've made all its budget back and then some so we'd get a proper S3.

Excellent, this is really good. It kind of looks like they're bullying Kisaragi in the background.

I only know this second-hand, but supposedly Kadokawa set prices for Nichijou discs noticeably higher then competition and episodes per disc lower. This led to sales described as abysmal, and also, supposedly, to ruining business relationships between Kadokawa and KyoAni.
