Rin got pounded by Archer’s BBC daily

>When he dies he goes to Avalon due to the sheer force of his love for her and stays with her there for eternity. Avoids becoming Archer as he is far more steadfast than Archer was as Shirou
Literal fanfiction

You're right, last episode is the true canon ending no matter the route

Saber is the worst character in Fate/Stay Night by a wide margin, if I gotta be completely honest. I hate to admit this is the truth. But it is. I kinda waifu'd her when I was a teen, but these days her route is the only route I can't revisit without cringing. It's just impossible to imagine her as an actual human being. The inconsistencies are simply too varying and convenient to be believed, at least without some extraordinarily development, which she clearly lacks since her route is basically the tutorial. She can't be a battle hardened war leader and a shy, cute, naive waifu at the same time. It doesn't work. Saber has supposedly led armies, fought in battle. She’s killed people with a sword, she’s seen friends and comrades die in front of her after suffering the same. She was a political leader, a statesman. Where do you see all these things in her character? How do you go from all that, to the blushing, innocent, naive blob she so often is elsewhere? Your brain twists itself in knots trying to make the contradictions fit, and you can’t help the whole time but notice how lacking in intelligence and communication skills Saber is required to be in order to maintain tension and momentum in the plot. And the inconsistencies just keep getting worse and worse the more you advance. Saber refuses to kill civilians for mana because it would go against her knight's code, and she nearly gives her name to Assassin. Saber has this pure, honorable side, and the VN never tries to reconcile it with the ruthless aspects of her backstory. It's amazing how little thought her character has. But I guess it's because she's just meant to be waifubait. The absolutely awful fairy tale ending that was added after the fact in the remake pretty much proves it.
>not even in the original game
>confirmed to be Takeuchi's fanfic
>full of plot holes
>contradicts the theme of the route
Now that I grew up I'm fucking embarrassed I was ever a Saberfag.

No its because Merlin let him in.

OH NO NO NO NO

that's nice and all but the only real golden ending is the UBW route where he gets to have Rin and Saber threesomes

>I am the bait of my sword

Modern humans can be pretty tough in Fate. Fuckin' Bazett would've curbstomped the teen crew in the 5th war if Kirei hadn't ganked her.
Anyway kung fu sensei was a world-class assasin, got juiced up by Caster, fought a weakened Saber, and still lost. It's fine.

>Sakura
>Unhealthy codependent end
Shocking.

Now now, how disengenious to not mention that dispite his losses, Shirou is still happy in Sakura's True End and is even more free from his PTSD then in the other routes

Saber
>Shirou becomes Archer. Years later Nasu makes some alternative cop-out ending that contradicts the story. God knows in what timeline it takes place, since it's just fanservice for the fans of the original novel.
Rin
>Shirou understands that his path leads to failure but won't regret his decisions. He isn't Archer because he isn't cynical but he's still following Archer's steps (reason why he'll stay end up alone in the desert)
Sakura
>Shirou's final destination. The conclusion of the story. Shirou abandons Archer's toxic ideals born from survivor guilt. He lives a happy life with the girl he truly loves and his sword body is replaced to symbolize this change. The happy and best conclusion to this coming-of-age tale.

>is a powerless puppet
But it's all made worth it to see her finally experience happiness.

cringest pasta in all Fate threads tbqphwyf

Based Shirou
still wonder how I'm going to become a hero of justice though I got no clue where to start

>Shirou becomes Archer
How the fuck did you get that? The whole moral of the Fate route is for Shirou and Saber learning to move on from their pasts. UBW illustrates perfectly that Archer comes from a timeline where neither were able to do that. Further, Archer states that he couldn't "save" Saber in his timeline meaning that they didn't fall in love like in the Fate route. The dialogue in the Fate route itself proves you are full of shit.

Based Gilchad

In the ass while wearing a diaper and kissing a girl because she's bi.

Lift and pay taxes. Become a chad and have half a dozen white children

Saber > Sakura > Rin
Saber > Sakura > Illya > Rin
Fate >= HF > UBW
