Just finished it . plot makes no sense , bad character writing and many other flaws but kept watching it just for the keks and it entertained me(except for last episode i guess) Definitely the meme anime of last season and unironically one of the better ones

Can't be helped if it's rushed, but the whole fight was basically "read the books or get fucked". Also the fan union's songs kept getting worse throught the season. The first one was perfect, but they kept making them more serious instead of just a cringe song from a bunch of fan girls like the first one. Or maybe I'm just not enough of an Anos autist to get it.

Hymn no. 5: thinly veiled sex scene and has utterly nonsensical onomatopoeiae. They sing it during Anos' official reinstatement ceremony. When demonfolk gets utterly confused by this song, Anus starts singing as well, and Shin, Reno, Kanon, Misa, Seven Jobbers and pretty much entire demon top-brass joins in.
Hymn no. 6: a completely blatant sex scene and has "iku iku iku" as a chorus. This one becomes Dilhaide's cultural export, as they sing it several times during the trip to other countries. One time even the head of the state joins the fangirls and sings and dances with them. One of the arcs has a climax involving three entire countries singing a fucking smut song to fuel Anos' magic.
