Anime > Manga

A decent anime adaptation is always better than the manga (Berserk) , and an excellent anime adapatation transcends the manga (One Punch Man).

When you have 0 imagination it makes sense why moving figure gooder than just figure amirtie goys? So much gooder!

If you actually had imagination, you would read books. There are so many books that are better than any chinese comic book could ever hope to be.

You think I disagree with that? Kek dipshit

>A visual medium is better as a few still images

here the retardest of the board

9 times out of 10, an anime adaptation is inferior to its manga

This, manga is nothing more than a glorified story board.

This, but 100% unironically

Light Novels are often going to be better then the Manga because a Manga can't elaborate or encourage imagination like engaging text can. Even if a large number of Light Novels are akin to YA trash, the mental engagement makes up for it.

Manga is only ever redeemed whenever an artist figures out how to draw good, or if it's going in a completely different story direction then the other adaptations.

Sure, thankfully i'm able to enjoy many forms of entertainment.

Me too. I like movies and anime, can't get into books and manga though.

Shame, especially books. It's amazing when you read a book so good you forget you're reading and you enter the scene.
And just as in manga, some books are never gonna be made into worthy movies. 1984 is an amazing movie ant the book is still better.

>1984
the book was meh and the movie was even mehier. literature folks are real midwits.

Anime
>has sounds
Manga
>has no sound
Yeah, I think anime is better

at least we can all agree C.L.A.N.G 2016/2017 is the superior berserk and will always be better

>1984
get better taste

Manga and anime are different media with different capabilities, allowances and appeals. I don't think one is better than the other and I don't understand the need to make absolutist assertions of one's superiority to the other.

>1984
>amazing
Come on, it's an interesting look at a dystopian future and the ties between language and reality, but it's nothing special when it comes down to it. Orwell wasn't the first to try dystopian lit and sadly he wasn't the last either.

>Orwell wasn't the first to try dystopian lit

And it shouldn't matter, because judging things by their influence and historical context instead of their actual content is stupid.

Based, I only read manga if there isn’t an anime adaptation
Comic books are a dying medium for a reason, the experience is better when you have voices, sound, music and most importantly movement

It shouldn't, you're absolutely correct. I expected him to respond by saying that Orwell's dystopia was original, and I was nipping that in the bud.

sion sono is a shit director, watch more cinema

>sion sono is a shit director

Perhaps but Love Exposure is absolute kinography.

good taste

>person who prefers anime over manga is a newfag
Color me surprised.

>an excellent anime adapatation transcends the manga (One Punch Man).
This is a joke, surely? One Punch Man had a very pedestrian anime adaptation that had the sole strength of frequently interesting action animation. It's probably more enjoyable to watch it on sakugabooru.

Similarly, a decent dub is always better than the sub and an excellent dub transcends the sub.

but anime is a proper adaption in a different medium, while a dub is just cutting and pasting a few random parts and hoping it kind of makes sense

Fuck off, retard.

It's been a while since I've seen bait this strong, well done

>anime is better than manga
honk honk
