My man Yakushi Kabuto. This dude is THE most badass character in the Naruto verse. He comes from nothing. He literally has no innate hax and still manages to become one of the strongest (outclassed only by dumb god hax bullshit) in the entire series. Yes Yakushi Kabuto can (unless you like god hax characters and you're a 12 year old dorkus) beat your favorite character. That's just a fact. He literally CREATED the most powerful summon (not even talking about Edo Tensei which is the ability that fucking dumps on everyone anyway but has to be discounted in all 1v1 fights because it's too powerful) in the entire world. Anyway, Kabuto thread. I'll permit discussion of other characters though if you'd like.

Hashirama simply didn't feel the need to break out of the Edo, his goals aligned with the summoner

There are 3 ways we have been shown to release yourself from Edo Tensei control

Gengetsu was able to resist a degree of the control as well as he was capable of holding back pretty severely during the fight. Only trying once he resolved to test gaara (which is implied to be his own will, not Kabuto's)

Madara literally knew Edo Tensei. It was a part of his eye of the moon plan from the begging to be resurrected as an Edo Tensei, then have Obito Rez him fully using rinne rebirth.
Madara is not the type of guy to rely on jutsu he doesn't fully understand, especially for his master plan that brings him back to life >But where did he learn it It's never stated exactly HOW he learned the jutsu but it's plausible that he simply learned it from Tobirama (whether he got the info from hashi, stole it, copied the technique with Sharingan etc idk) or he managed to come up with the jutsu on his own. Which is also not I reasonable considering he is a fucking genius and one of the most powerful shinobi ever.
I could actually see Hashirama running to tell Madara how Tobirama came up with a jutsu to bring ozuna back only for Madara to lose his shit at the thought of defiling his little brother. Then after the schism reflecting and going "this might have some use actually"

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me I think Orochimaru says they are about equal at one point. By the time the war arc comes Kabuto is a lot stronger than him. I like them a lot too. Kisame is probably my second favorite character.
