We're coming to the end of the era where QE and easy money alone are enough to keep the train running. The next stage entails printing money to offset the real economy in a broad way as evidenced by PPP, stimulus, and other lending facilities. In this environment, loss of income, outstanding debt, and declining spending will be tackled by pseudo-fiscal measures taken by the Fed and Treasury. There is no appetite to raise rates or let a chain of defaults affect markets and there is even bipartisan support to do so though they may disagree on exact allocation.
This is worrying as these sort of measures aren't contained within the financial economy and are more prone to over/undershoot leaving us more prone to heavy inflation or deflation. We become Japan or we become stagflationary depending on the whims of Fed policy.

Luckin Coffee ruined all of China for me. I can't do it.
What conditions are needed for the Fed to implement negative interest rates? Or is that truly under last resort?
Aaron Phillips
thanks for your 200iq insight user. what does this mean for the endgame? (10-40 years) is it possible to actually truly "recover" after you do a move like this?
Made big gains off SMIC, and I'm VERY tempted by CQQQ, KWEB, CHIK, or just getting back in BILI.
how many Luckins can there really be? (A lot.)
Samuel Butler
Except unlike like Luckin, BILI owns all streaming rights of League of Legends in China. It launches satellites. It streams anime. It sells anime related apparel and toys. It has a lot of youtube like content.

I didn't even buy MSFT for the Chink Chonk news but I'm very comfy tbqh
Market crash this week. It will be glorious. I would advise exiting positions at the next pump (if there will be one). Godspeed friends, you don’t wanna buy the upcoming dip.
I'm not him, but I feel a dip coming as well. It's nothing you can't hold through though.

Only happening if Congress does jack shit this week.

Anybody buy OPK on Friday? Q3 earnings will be awesome.
Isaiah Peterson
Y'know, I've felt like that since March. Just about like every other Bear ever. I missed the last two weeks of selloff shitshow, and I missed the whole rally in every sector predicated on my intuition that this shit would have to go down. Instead I missed 100% returns on AMZN, or a 90% rally in TQQQ. Missed gains in oil shorts.
But yeah, sure. Be rich or right.

Negative rates is a last ditch effort that does little good. If negative rates are implemented, it'll be because the economic situation is deteriorating, sentiment is worsening, and some action needs to be taken to assure the market that the Fed has their backs. Futures traders are pricing in negative rates by next summer.
Recovery will depend on where we end up. I'm personally betting on inflation followed by an eventual rate hike like Volcker did, but that could change as things progress.
With each day that passes we're one closer to the election. The pressure to pass the 2nd check bill grows stronger. Angry voters and ballots don't mix. Lots of booting is the result. 2400 in free green and expanded unemployment hangs in the balance (I'm still employed but hey I'm all for those getting as much green as they can if it's offered)

Tell me bros, why should I even have a bank account when the robinhood cash card comes out?
I mean banks are a horrible place to keep your money because they don't earn hardly any interest.
