"We are steadily realizing the lifestyle that we have long admired for many years, such as "drawing manga at your favorite pace." The best ~~!"
How much does Jump regret not giving Kubo some necessary breaks during TYBW? Bleach would have continued till 2019-20 with more volumes and a more satisfying ending if they had done that.
Kubo did take hiatuses during TYBW. There was even a 5 week one at one point. Issue was his declining health from his work ethic and the stuff that comes with wanting to meet deadlines. Seems like Kubo worked out a Togashi tier contract though, where he tosses WSJ a bone in the form of a volume every once in a while.

Wow, this is so bland compared to Bleach covers.

I respect the hustle here. If I was the third of the big three, I'd take this time to do a manga series at a nice slow pace with breaks. You'd think WSJ would learn from Oda and let their long runners take a week break once a month just to keep the candle from burning out so quickly.

>muh big three It's not a thing
Gabriel King
I mean when you say the Big Three everyone understands that you're talking about One Piece/Naruto/BLEACH so whether you like it or not, the concept exists.

How was BtW btw?
Nathaniel Peterson
Far better than Bort and Squid8.
William Lewis
I wished he had relaxed more during Fullbring. That's when things started to really go downhill health-wise, especially with WSJ piling on the pressure to pump out chapters
