Will we see more of this power in the future?

Do you have want her to have a "meaningful loss" and give up on her pursuit for power & Touma.

>Anna has an angel tier brain
>She is one of the few characters that actually blends science and magic
Oh god when she and accel fight it's going to be one of those dumb calculation battles like with Kakine and Mina.

Yes

It's shit writing and only a brain-dead argument made by people who want her to stop appearing. The better alternative is letting her achieve all her goals, and then she notices the pursuit doesn't help her and she'll naturally give it up if you absolutely MUST have her stop her pursuit. The more someone protects her the more she takes psychological damage, the hell a "meaningful" loss is never solving her problems.

What is coming out of that hand? Dragon? IT?

Dont shit up this thread, faggots. Leave this shit back in the other thread.

It's about as bad as Misaki deciding to move on from Touma simply because he doesn't remember her.

I don't care about Mikoto. But I don't want it. It could be ok if it happened in the of OT. But she went through OT and even NT. And now she is in GT. And after all her appereance and screentime remove her from story becuase of her loss to shitty Mary Sue Anna, will be stupid.
I understand your argument about message "It's better give up because you don't need it and find something else" but I don't it's a case there. I think Kamachi is making some great set-up for her and it can be anything. She is becoming villain; level up; she realises she can't become stronger and she is finding her way to support Touma with her abilities; or like this user said .
Of course she won't become MC and OP character like her fans want. And of course she won't be removed from the story like her haters want.

Don’t bring your shit here.

It's like pursuing a treasure, only to never find it and the message being "it's the journey that counts, the treasure is symbolic"

I had eggs for breakfast.

Better question is when are we finally going to see vampires? Knowing him, there's no way Kamachi would seriously pass up the chance to introduce a vampire loli.

Maybe later on. Hopefully. Maybe we wilk get to see the chance of himegami becoming somewhat relevant.

I think the way Mikoto's flaws are used to drive her in Index, more and more she'll start to be honest, abandon her tsun habits. Pursue power, become humble, protect others and her aim will evolve into something other than Touma but a confession and important talk will happen. It can be a coming-off-age theme.

Either this, or she is going to be a villain who later redeems herself.

>OP character
I don't think anyone wants her to become needlessly OP. They just want her to be able to pull her own weight and be able to do what she set out to do.

>Watch railgun arc
>People have clearly defined powers that create context and dramatic tension
>They use their powers in interesting, scientifically coherent ways that make fights satisfying on an intellectual level
>When level 5s go all out you can really feel their godlike knowledge of and control over their domain
>Tonally consistent setting without any glaring contradictions
>Character growth
>Themes about things relevant to real people, like natural ability or self reliance
>Interesting mysteries that have reasonable payoffs

>Watch index arc
>People pulling powers out of their asses
>Power levels vary wildly to match the enemy; apparently a bunch of nuns with pointy sticks are threatening to a guy who can summon fire demons
>Lack of well defined powers make situations seem less dire and overcoming challenges less compelling
>Fights are people slinging magic missiles at Touma while he dodges until he can punch them
>Setting is a mashup of randomly combined references to mythology and religion
>No reason to care about setting since you don't understand anything about it anyway
>Muh doomsday macguffin
>Only one of the main characters has a personality, the other is a slapstick gag
>TOOOOUUMA

So when I start reading the light novels it's fine to skip any not featuring Misaka or Accelerator, right?

>Only one of the main characters has a personality,
Who?

Maybe if that "true color" thing Touma mentioned goes anywhere, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

GT3 predictions?

Kamachi in hiatus.

The light novels do a way better job at explaining and illustrating the magic side, so give it an honest shot, you might end up liking it a lot more. I still think accelerator is one of the more interesting characters and the series suffers from power creep here and there, but its still fun to read

Do I have to go back and read anything that was covered in the show to understand the magic system?

Touma. His personality is just suppressed when he's simping for index.

Touma and Accelerator are the best characters in this franchise

Touma working with Kuroko and Uiharu while Accel and Anna sit in jail during the opening and maybe some Between the Lines segments. During the epilogue she'll get bored and break out.
Alternatively, Hamazura volume where Anna gets bored and breaks out in the opening instead.

The rate for initial Mikoto is the same in either gacha, if you absolutely don't want the Halloween units then just pull in the normal gacha I guess.

Also depending on how long ago you started playing, you could just reroll until you get her in the first free pull during the tutorial.

>Kuroko
Into the trash it goes

I suspect that's how it will go down. I don't really think her losing will give her perspective at this point. The loss against Anna easily falls into the catagory of a "meaningful" loss.

Uiharu a cutie.
