I like the VN, the old anime, this new anime and (You)!
Higurashi NEW
I'm not sure why people dislike the old anime, it's perfectly fine as its own thing, unlike most VN adaptations which are almost impossible to understand without having read the source material.
stop trying to view 06 Higurashi "as it's own thing" when it's not supposed to be because it's an adaptation of the VN.
Irie is the most based character in Higurashi.
What the fuck is up with Keiichi's head in that pic?
Lemme try and make this hatable
It's been a short day.
Lmao, how small is this girl?
Should I watch the old one or just jump into the new one? This a remake right?
The most underrated Soul Brother.
We just don't know.
Read the visual novel.
Kino
I cummed and clapped once the ending (old) (new) (forma de opening) started playing over the scene, it was pure cinematic kino
Does Higurashi have good fights? The Red Eyed girl looks strong
she uses her sharingan on the yakuza girl
Sorry to disappoint, but Rena is the strongest.
there are practically no fights, Why you think it does?
Yes, she knows all about Itachi's techniques.
Drunk Rika in Red Eye mode is the strongest character in the series yeah
It does have the fight in the roof and the whole finale tho.
This anime always makes me laugh
Have to say watching higurashi again is fun. And fun things are fun
you watch this series not for the fights, but the beatings
I know, That is why I say "Practically" no fights.
Yep, too bad the fanbase is such a bag of trash.
I'm really not sure what to think of the new art style. The old series and the OVAs looked good, but the new series doesn't look bad. Keiichi looks weird now with his thick eyebrows and almost red hair. Rena looks fine as do the twins. I need to see more of Rika and Satoko before making any further judgments.
This is going to be a wild fucking ride watching with Zig Forums
Good thing I don’t get butt blasted over innocuous shitposting since each thread only has the merit as the last.
The close-ups looked fantastic though.
WHAT THE FUCK
I feel like I shouldn't have seen this
But hey I did say she looked powerful
The sudden shift between the super shiny bubbly artstyle to those actually works really well.
How many episodes can we expect?
Yeah, combining that with the OST stops is a really good effect.
13
How many episodes are there?
>SHAFT for toddlers
very spoopy
One full season, most likely 25 or 26 episodes (or "2 cour" if you want to go by specific terminology)
I am so glad and at the same time disappointed that the Opening seems to be the same.
This is the true sequel to Hinamizawa Outbreak
We have absolutely no idea what the opening and the ending of the series looks like, and we probably won't know until episode 2 next week.
It does have a pretty awesome fight right at the end of chapter 6
Yeah, this gives me chills
it is confirmed 2 cours at least
God I wish I was that chair
Did you see the ep? The first opening was there in the end credits, I mean, It could be a neat throwback but who knows
They are going to spend the entire budget on Oishi for sure.
what was the purpose of this scene?
>This again
We can't say that confirms it as the OP going forward. Could very well just be used for nostalgia.
Yeah K1 is the only one that got worse but I;m mostly basing that off of what I remember from Kai.
Kai and Rei were peak K1 design.
A ton of them yeah, don't even get me started on the powerlevels
This. Anime will often use old music for nostalgia purposes. The upcoming Yashahime anime uses Inuyasha music but will most likely have its own unique opening and ending music.
If it stands on it's own, it stands on it's own. Stop being autistic.
Still not sure which Satoko I like better.
The Rika knife scene is more impactful for me, like she said "fuck it, I'm out, go fuck yourself, see you later".
Yashahime will be the biggest turd ever, not even worth talking about.
