>What the fuck is GANTZ? Gantz is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku (of Gigant and Inuyashiki, his later works). Gantz tells the story of a teenager named Kei Kurono, among others, who die but find themselves brought back in perfectly healthy bodies and forced to participate in a "game" where they must hunt down and kill aliens. Those who die on missions are quickly replaced by others in following missions. >so what did i miss from the last volume Nothing much, just the Katastrophe hitting planet Earth! Spread after spread of unstoppable and unending destruction caused by a race of giant aliens with multiple eyes, a werid language and more importantly, weaponry way too similar to the Gantz system, and even more advanced than that! In the middle of this pandemonium, our main team tries to help as much people as possible, even if it means being exposed to the rest of the world. In particular, Kurono 1 protects Tae and a group of students and gets marked by the alien authorities, and Kurono 2 and Reika battle a team of armed aliens and get overpowered, only to be saved by a legion of new Gantzers. Can hope be returning to the human race, at least a little?
