Was this your first ever manga or something. Ending wasn't great but it was perfectly serviceable. Not even close to the worst

The story was never particularly deep in the first place, it was carried by personalities and good fight choreography. Ending was par for the course.

final chapter =/= ending. The way the defeated the final villain was perfectly serviceable. "And now, a chapter of their reincarnations doing parkour " was fucking retarded.

it was carried by the animation
the manga sucks

>good fight choreography
You’re talking about the anime right?

There is like a 100% chance the author was a woman and didn't like the idea of ending with the entire main cast dead in their teens and twenties. It really wasn't that bad, it just existed to show that things weren't as bleak and dreary as the final arc depicted.

No, there are several excellent fights in the manga. If you don't think the Akaza fight was good, then there's pretty much no hope for you. Koku was another great one.

Souma

>battle shounen published in 2016 becomes one of the best selling manga of all time in 4 years
>doesn't have good fights
The fights were the entire fucking manga

The story is rife with Buddhist allegories and references. Don't buy into the "kimetsu is simple but well executed" meme.

The rld arc fight was great

Having allegories and references does not make a story thematically deep.

Allegory is the simpletons guide to pretending not to be simple.

Why did you even need to ask when it's obvious that the answer is Bleach?

A lot of them were, anyone who thinks this manga did not have good fights is a fucking moron. Why else would people be buying it? It's not like the story was super deep, just the opposite in fact. It was like the most basic premise possible, it was just well executed and concise which is something you can't say about it's competitors. What's funny is that in recent years the manga that don't drag on forever have been a lot more successful. Almost like people want a complete fucking story and not something that suffers a slow death for 200 chapters.

Was clearly axed once the sales plummeted

see

>personalities
Of who? Tropey hashira that had their 1 flashback chapter and then were killed off?
>good fight choreography
Now I realize you're baiting

Naruto

Ah yes I'm sure everyone bought it so that they could see the generic story of a demon lord being killed by a hero. That must be it.

This, anyone who didn't recognize the basis in Buddhism is either a brainlet or didn't read it.

>good fight choreography
Kek

They got lured in by the anime and thought that the manga would be equally flashy.

Hitman Reborn

If I had known Boruto would be a thing, retroactively I would rate Naruto as having a worse finale. Otherwise I thought it was fine, and definitely not worse than Bleach or Kimetsu no Yaiba.

darling in the franxx comes to mind

Not him, but I would have much preferred seeing the cast at their oldest and actually happy and satisfied with their lives, with the exception of maybe a couple who still freak out feeling like there are demons around, before realising they're okay and maybe a final page with protag passing away. It's a cliché but could have been nice.

Bleach

>Name a non-axed manga with a worse final chapter.
