What things has the Naruto storytime redpilled you on?
I realized Sakura is better than Hinata in every capacity but backstory, and that Narusaku had solid basis behind it. Hinata's a borderline background character who would've been forgotten if it weren't for the Confession chapter.

What are you implying here? If it's that I said it had more evidence than Naruhina. I only said Narusaku had basis. It's even more apparent in early part 2 as well when Sakura begins to truly understand Naruto and the burden he has to go through. Kishi could've easily retrofitted Narusaku as an endgame pair.

Sasuke got his mary sue brother, his mary sue clan, Orochimaru who is also a legendary sannin to train him, an entire platoon of fodder samurai, a legendary super special lightning sword, a group of "friends" through no effort of his own who follow him because he's super special strong and want to fuck him, special snowflake eyes that comes with its own special snowflake powers. Face it, Sasuke got handed just as much bullshit as everyone else in the show.
Kishimoto knew most of the Naruto fanbase were fujos and shipfags (Iruka was always high in the popularity polls because he was shipped with Kakashi a lot), so he couldn't fully develop a relationship because shipfags and fujos of other ships would drop the manga.
Sasuke fans are insane, Sasuke has betrayed and tried to kill every person who cared about him. Any ship that has Sasuke in it is automatically shit because you have to ignore everything about Sasuke just to make it work.

Any other time Sakura is implied to shown interest in Naruto it's other people implying it for her. Maybe Kishi was going somewhere with it, but by the time Pein arc came up it seemed like he already made up his mind about it.
