This show is basically the Japanese equivalent of Scooby-Doo

In the last chapter, Yusaku gets sick and Conan sticks around to help him. Unfortunately Yusaku is set to do a live broadcast and he's still feeling ill, Conan plans to cancel for him but suddenly someone appears disguised as him and is willing to help. Conan lets them in, thinking they're Kaito Kid, and they do the show and everything works fine, they even catch a culprit. However, after the case, Conan learns Kid was spotted in a completely different location at this time. Worried, he rushes back to his parents, where he finds the FBI with them. Conan discovers neither of his parents are sick, and have only acted that way as someone tried to give them food poisoning, and wanted to see what the person was trying to do once their guard was down. The FBI search the residence for Black Organization spy equipment but find nothing.
Vermouth, who meets with Gin and Vodka, was ordered to investigate Yusaku, directly ordered by Rum, who wants Yusaku dead. Yusaku warns Conan they need to plan for the Organizations big move.

For next week's chapter's spoilers:
>At the beginning of the chapter, Gin and Vodka found a foreigner, Vodka gave the foreigner a FBI ID to check (that means the foreigner is a FBI spy and he gave him his true ID), and then we see the muzzle of Gin gun and SHOT, that happened while Conan, Haibara and DB just passed by Conan hurried to check, and he used his glasses to zoom, and he saw Vodka on a roof (upstairs) and the same classic BO crew, then Conan go back to Kudo's home to tell the FBI about what he saw
Pictures should be coming later.
Michael Martin
I guess I was wrong. I thought the chapter would just be Conan talking to Haibara about what happened before and then they get into a DB case, with maybe a Rum hook at the end.
Also I don't understand about the FBI ID thing.
Landon Flores
They give one of their members and FBI ID to investigate, but it's that member's own ID, revealing they know he's a spy, and then they shoot him, that's what it seems. And I don't blame anyone who didn't expect for the cliffhanger last chapter to immediately go anywhere big. I mean that time Conan figured out who the boss of the organization was sort of faded away.

Gin is a fucking fag who hasn't accomplished anything since he killed Pisco.
Juan Evans
Only because Conan and his allies (FBI) are usually in the know (because of their CIA spy) about their bigger plans and stop them behind the scenes. One person being off'd like this FBI spy in the next chapter shows that many things happen without Conan's side knowing, Gin has likely killed many people in the shadows since Pisco. Conan/FBI only seems to learn about big assassinations or high ranking members moving around. Apparently Kir didn't tell anyone about Gin and Vodka planning to kill this spy, she probably didn't hear about it herself since it was a 2 on 1 murder. She also possibly didn't even know the guy was a spy to begin with and wasn't keeping an eye on him.

Rum is just going to be a mole. Why bother.
Jordan Reed
I highly doubt it, I'm pretty sure Gosho is even aware how making the second in command a spy would undermine the threat of the Organization. If he wanted to do another mole story he would just be doing another random ranking member like Bourbon instead of explicitly the second in command.
Dominic Howard
You guys are just now making a thread for it? This has been out for hours.

Also what manga is the fucking catacombs behind Conan supposed to be promoting?
Isaac Powell
This is never ending manga because the magazine like to milking it
Ayden Edwards
Reminder that the voice actor for Jirokichi Suzuki was announced dead yesterday. He died before finishing the upcoming Kaito case, the first case adaption from the manga in 6 months.
Luke Phillips
We're in the endgame range now, user. I know everyone loves to say Conan will never end because it's just so fun to say that every single week, but it's not 2010 anymore.
Matthew Walker
I don't really expect anything to happen like usual. Let me know if Kir shows up though.
Jayden Stewart
You could have at least scrolled down in a spoilers thread to see if anything happens (they do) before saying this. How many more people are going to drop in, say what is essentially nothing, and then leave?

Simpsons. Scooby lasted so long because of rebrands.
Josiah Cook
I think he means the weekly mystery element on top of running a long time and being iconic.

Are there any red herrings for Wakita to be in the black organization? Rumi has the APTX list and Kuroda knows Bourbon.
Aaron Young
Pics when? can't wait to see who is RUM
James Peterson
The user said sometime tonight. Don't get your hopes up about Rum though, there's no way the first chapter of this arc would reveal them. I do expect this to be the last Rum arc story though. We're in Volume 100, which ends with chapter 1069. We'll probably figure out who Rum is by then or as a cliffhanger on that chapter, to make V100 a big occasion.

Finally some BO shit after Bourbon arc fiasco. last exciting BO plot was when KIR woke up from the coma and kill Akai.
Hope this arc is more serious and not a dace mask festival like previous BO cases.
Josiah Ortiz
Doesn't Japan have a suspicious activity law? Gin and Vodka and everyone else just walks around in black trenchcoats stalking around and on more than one occasion, incredibly suspiciously in public.
Lincoln Reed
I also find it weird how Gin and Vodka apparently dont have public identities.
