I've learned more about the dynamics of Japanese high schools than I ever care to know. I also learned that the Japanese somehow think that high school was the best time of their lives.

a lot of people think that everywhere. think about it. almost no responsibilities, you get to spend time with same people every day so you can have friends fairly easily. you have to study and take tests but they too are not that hard, a day is enough to prepare. I wish I took advantage of my hs days more.

For me middle school was the golden time. Literally no responsibilities, all the time to watch the animes. High school actually started requiring me to study which I fucking failed at. Also my class in middle was overall nicer people than in HS, there were more girls too. Middle school was when I stopped being a fucking retarded brat and became a regular retard shitposter. Middle > high for me always.
