user wants to write the perfect anime plot and asks for ideas, an exploration of man and the dangers of obsession.

What separates a plot from an anime plot?

Go on.

long time ago there was a great empire who conquest and civilizate the world but today only ruins remain.
the heirs of this empire lost all that lands and survive only in a small kingdom, corrupted, weak , literrally a dying nation.
The MC is a history lover since he was a child and dream to bring back his nation to this golden age
soon the MC become the greatest soldier and clim fast the ranks and become very popular but when he noticed that the republic wanted invade his nation tried to warning the governament

the corrupted gov didnt belived in his words + had buissness with the enemy empire so they send the MC to the most far awy region of the kingdom , a mountain region with only 100k inhabitans, here MC could not do nothing to stop the destiny.
discperate tries at least to create a little hope, fortifies his mountains, collects provisions and men to prepare for the invasion.
fate cannot be changed and the republic conquers the whole kingdom except his mountains.

now he was the last bastion of 2000 years of history of the ancient empire, winning is or impossible the forces are 100 to 1, but if you really have to die at least let's make sure that the last act of life of this great history is not pathetic to read.
so MC begins his battle.
night attacks, poisoning, betrayals, raids, fires nothing is too much when you try to keep your dream alive

This is the story of a man who belive in his dream and could not accept the reality

and then there's a high school girl

Alright, I'll give my two cents.
>The mc is a boy who gets isekai'd
>He discovers himself in a fantasy land, and finds out that he is stupid OP compared to the rest of the people
>He gets told to kill the demon queen
>But he thinks to himself, that he is way too powerful to take orders, so instead, he takes control of his country by brute force, and declares himself king
>Then he attacks the Demon queen, but instead of killing her, they get married, making him the demon king
>Meanwhile, in another kingdom, another isekai'd boy shows up, gains a lot of power, but follows all the cliches of the average stories
>It is at this point that our Demon king realizes that he is set up to fail, because the other kid is the mc.
>Thus the Demon king has to do everything in his power, to either corrupt, break or kill the generic, one dimensional hero, or he will be destroyed.

I'll just repost my idea for 'slice of life with a twist':
>orphan loli gets taken in by an eccentric rich family
>they treat her nicely at first, then suddenly reveal that they're cultists worshipping a demon lord and want to use the girl as a sacrifice
>the idiot son of the family screws up part of the ritual, and a portion of the demon lord's power is transferred to the loli instead
>family realizes they fucked up and bend over backwards to appease the now all-powerful loli, who wants to do all the things she couldn't as an impoverished orphan
>meanwhile demon lord tries to get loli to enslave the world in his place by sending envoys and nagging her from inside her head

you can literally write a LN about this, and it wouldnt even be that bad comparing to others

So the evil looking slave owner turn out to be a nice guy

Everyone know him as Blackgold, a strong mafia leader with lot of influence and known to be pretty strong and unkillable.
His real name is Blinny, he is a nice guy who try to put evil group out of business by taking over with evil-looking practice that are more efficient and more ethical.
Feeling old, he choose to train an ex-slave S'aiyla as his successor so she don't become as corrupt as the others.

The story from then is him training her so that a few year later as she reach adulthood she can look like a card-carrying evil elven princess, pretending to be plotting to backstab Blackgold so that she can work along all he others treacherous coworker.

Shenanigan include:
-Traitor seeing her inexperienced attempt and take her under his wing (planning to use her as a scapegoat)
-S'aiyla trying evil-looking skimpy bondage attire
-having to do evil deeds then fix them behind the scene to keep their moral
-A dark elve warrior fall in love with her (misinterpreted) evil way and trying to impress her with evil deed, she have to play along saying it's not the death and violence that set her off.
-S'aiyla thwart a deal between necromancer and an army of goblins, then have to maintain the charade that she have assassins ready to kill them all if they try anything.
-some good-doer adventurer/prince get to see her real nature and try to rescue her from that world of madness, against her will if he must. So she fight him in public and it help her image.

>Broken Isekai
The MC arrive in this vidya themed game, and think himself a big shot for killing a wolf with exploit.
Except this is a Bethesda Isekai.

He discovers that almost every single intelligent being of this world use exploit to get to levels between 60~100.
Every non-sentient creature also level-up to match the average of the entire living population.

A lumberjack "bad day" is when he have to fight a lvl 67 Treant and break his father's enchanted masterwork magma axes.
A farmer typically take 20levels in wisdom just to guess the weather right and some strength when his lvl 50 sheeps need to be sheered
Their wives at home tend to have 50 level in magic, some of it to detect their kids putting level in Stealth, some pyromancy perk to light the fireplace and when they conjure some Hero's Feast they do a light show bigger than the house they live in.
(Their peasant house have magical cave that are bigger on the inside than the outside and count as dungeon)
The local blacksmith can't make anything below the "Greater" attribute, even nails.
Local fishermen make part of the river levitate and throw harpoons at giant fish with fire shield

Meanwhile the kids are playing hide&seek using Improved Invisibility and Chaotic Polymorph
They have to stop because OldMan say it need to rain today for the field
The kids grumble because even Epic Mind Control won't sway Oldman maxed out wisdom.

So the monstrous wolf (lvl 32) the MC fought?
It was a "weakened lesser wolf cub" who had barely escaped an acidbear.

The level up exploit itself is simple but it need some coins to buy ingredients and take up to a year to gain 20 level.

The story is about the MC merely surviving in that world, using every exploit he can.
Out of pride he pretend to hide his real level, but once the truth get out, everyone are actually impressed by the low level worrior.

It end with the MC beating an evil Overlord with exploit beyond sanity, all with actual SKILLS & the few spell he got to learn.

An edgy, grimdark spin on Asimov's Foundation Trilogy? I like it.

Reverse Isekai

Scholar of the fantasy world who was learning magic until he is hit by a runaway cartkun.

He wake up in our modern world.
Like all MC he have a superpower. He kept his magic and still level up in arbitrary way.
He use spell to speak any language and once he does it enough he level-up enough to speak it fluently
He use a series of golem spells on a computer and become a one man army of hackers.
Thanks to his magic he can evade arrest or fight dozen of gunman, his magical sword can cut his way into almost any building.

The story is him rising up in prestige as he solve injustice here and there, but by doing so he uncover conspiracy and become the enemy of very powerful people, leading him to become a sort of Messiah for the 99%. + getting a harem by accident.

The story have him behead the leaders of who manipulated the world from the shadow, MC therefore free the world into a new golden age as the digital money literally trickle down.

Isekai truck meme OAV

MC get hit by a truck
>wake up the truck driver got Isekaied

>wake up the truck got Isekaied

>wake up reincarnated as a Transformer, truck

>wake up reincarnated as an isekai-agency recruiter, he have to find promising isekai-character and run them down with a truck

>wake up in a world he doesn't understand. MC was a fantasy-land warrior and become a neet

>wake up, in a fantasy world, it's a VR game and the MC was a drunk old man being pranked

>wake up and see the truck completely destroyed, MC has always been a super-hero but ignored it

>wake up in the Spintire/Mudrunner game it's an epic isekai were MC deliver logs and parts to save lives

>wakes up in a mad max setting and his OP power is to be able to drive the legendary WAR RIG.

>wake up in a world identical except that popular truck never existed, the MC go mad from the idea that things he knew can disappear

>wake up in a world of lilliputian creature they all live on the truck they worship and the plot is about them trying to drive it

>wake up in a fantasy world were magician invoke golem to fight for them the golem are trucks

>wake up from the Matrix, truck killing is an hack that allow to get people out of the matrix

>wake up in a zombie post-apocalyptic world everyone want to obtain or drive a model of "that truck" because somehow it frighten zombies

>wake up as an astronaut on the moon get hit by a space truck he didn't see coming because no sound

>wake up, the truck and his driver got isekaied upon destruction by a bigger truck

Isekai in which Cold War era USA and USSR gets teleported to a fanasty world, afterwords the two superpowers forces the nations native to this world to pick a side, MC is a diplomat from one of the native kingdoms trying to figure what what superpower to side with in this new Cold War

>evil weakening witch wants to die in peace while not bothering anyone
>villagers hate her and mistreat her for years
>the witch snaps
>she uses her remaining power to curse all 136 villagers to the tower of agony

What's the tower of agony?
>has endless stairs
>every 7 seconds a stair is consumed by lava
>every 10,000 stairs there's a floor with a forest
>forest is full of danger but can provide them food and water
>it takes 24 hours for the stairs to be consumed by lava
>villagers have to find the next stairs with that time too

Why are they even living?
>The witch is disguised among them and implanted false memories of her fake persona in the villages' heads. If they kill her, they'll be free. But, how can they know who it is?

Why is similar?

I'm more interested in how you teleport CONTINENT than your story.
You'll have better luck having them open GATES to that world, both try to colonize it by force, when midway the GATES close behind them. Leaving them with only their technologies, some supply and their ideology.

Got a story :

This would be about a cold war secret military base that discover an intruder and catch him.
The intruder baffle them because it turn out its a time traveler whose suit broke.
Naturally the base commander think this is the greatest discovery that ever could happen, but he is in for a hellish lot of trouble.

He never seem to be able to contact his HQ. Everything keep failing on him.

Soon he will discover that other time traveler are the cause, because of the way their suit work they can't just "grab him and flee", however they are trying their damnest to keep the military base from communicating, yet have the time fly "smoothly" (here : "not creating a new parallel timeline to preserve the time-purity of their friend")

A match of something-better-than-chess begin. The Military get a few rules little by little :
- the Travelers will not kill anybody
- they have omniscience at all time Past/Future
- they have limited tools at their disposal to rescue someone (basically bringing another suit & packing the broke one in a time-bag)
- the traveler only go one at a time and never BEFORE the arrival of another traveler (see time-purity).
And so the army keep trying to make it physically impossible to knock-out guard and unshackle the prisoner.

...If I got my logic right there shouldn't be paradox possible, but you tell me.

How it end ? I have no idea,
The goal of the 1st Travelers team is to change the future to prevent the end of humanity from happening, again.
But there's a 2nd team of time traveler not playing the same rules who want to kidnap the traveler and/or catch the technology or one of his rescuer. they, want to rules a "new technologically advanced past".

>Delenda

They decide to travel to Rome in order to find their aunt. Shopping the way they must deal with rough terrain, corrupt governors, slavers, and barbarians all while coming to the realization that Rome is not eternal

A boy meets a boy...

ECCHI
Story follow the schoolgirl. By accident she freed a bunch of spirit that only she can see (and hear).
They aren't evil but they possess items befitting them and do mischief.

She discovers how to bring back the spirit into the Shrine seal.
Problem: the process involve trapping the spirit into a maiden using magic ropes.
And she is trying to stay low keys.

Enough said, PLOT goes like that:

1) track the spirit
2) (early) get tied up by the spirit, rope above clothes
3) (late) tie herself up first so she can hide the rope
4) hide herself from others, using power from the spirit (from invisibility to plain suspending herself to the ceiling)
5) getting into plenty of social situation while tied up
6) discovers strong spirit require more ropes, keeping her immobile
7) negotiate with the spirit so she can move again

Story final is her understanding why the spirits are restless, her insecurity as a maiden (she's been fighting inner demon).
Once she realize that the spirit get more friendly and cooperate willingly she thus live peacefully with her newfound duty managing them.
Epilogue show her continuing bondage under various clothes.

Takumie Sudo is a 13 year old shy girl who originally lived in rural Obama,Fukui.1 day she found a boy who's a nerdy otaku and instantly "liked" him,and started keeping a diary recording all her fantasies about him and how they're going to be perfect for one another. She never found the courage to confess her love...I mean "feelings" for him until she found out he's transferring overseas. She tries to talk to him in a library on his last day in school, but instead bumps into him and drops her diary.

The boy picked up diary but never found the chance to return it back to her. After he'd moved to Paris, he opened up the diary in curiosity, and read it all in one night while masturbating... while imagining himself living the perfect live with Bob Sapp, and realises that he is in fact super fabulously madison-moore-sexual.He eventually gets a black north-african boyfriend to re-enact all the fantasies in the diary.

Meanwhile in Nihon,Takumie was forced to watch a LIVE! Nico Nico Douga video of a japanese boy fugging a BBC because her friends thought she acts too much like a virgin. She realises the boy in the video was the nerd boy she "liked". She goes into depression, but comes out of it full of rage against the penis and also she's an androgyny lesbian now. She forms a counter-culture idol unit with other like-minded yuris , setting off on the mission to "Destroy all idols" and all 3DPD related to otakus and homopenis.

It's called "Love Lie!"

Paint drys isekai

god dammit I had an idea real similar to this but it was called spindle tower.

>seamstress is thought to be a witch and executed
>turns out she is a witch and turns village into a giant tower
>1000 years later the villagers use their souls to free one child and tell him to clear the spindle tower
>Spindle tower has 100 floors and each floor represents the worst part of each villager
>MC is guided by the collective voices of the villagers
>Every time he clears a floor the tower gets shorter, and the spirit of the villager on it gets set free to ascend

If your story relies on fantasy novel, or even worse, fantasy video game clichés it is not original.

A nerdy kid and meteorology freak somewhere in the times before the internet is the only one to realize that it rains more often than explainable when he goes home from school.

He uses scientific methods and statistical measurements around town to track down the path of an elusive and mysterious local rain source which turns out to be some kind of weather/fertility god girl his age that lets it rain wherever she goes.

But that was the easy part, the hard part is befriending her!

Nerdy sol romance with a focus on moody weather effects and educational funfacts about meteorology.

Civil Servants have to go around after incidents with Magical Girls and gather witness statements, inspect damage, collect readings and foreign materials, and generally clean up after mysterious rambunctious teenagers with highly destructive abilities. A few minutes every episode will be devoted to the girls themselves, occasionally with conflicting information depending on witness statements.
The soldiers of the Dark Army are only a few steps above human performance. Sometimes the team as to defend themselves in the field to do their jobs, or even pull back if a situation gets too hot. Considering their shoestring budget, they're often asked to take excessive risks and find ways to do more with less. Team is a mix of pencil pushers, soldiers/defense contractors, scientists and engineers, among others.
Themes of grief, loss, envy and generational disconnect, but also communities coming together in the wake of disaster, and the satisfaction of hard, if often underappreciated, work.

>high school
>but everyone is a catholic saint
>and the martyrs are in their martyred form
>they have skills and personalities loosely based on lore

You just lack imagination. Clichés can be subverted or taken to a whole new level that's original in itself.
That is unless you are the type who tend to move the goalpost forever.

So anywho, for /m/'s OC thread, I wrote my own Gunam plot. It's 25% complete, but this is what I have so far. I don't know if it counts.
