do you find it funny when a ultraviolent manga such as baki barely has anyone die.
Do you find it funny when a ultraviolent manga such as baki barely has anyone die
Yes.
Also this is unrelated but Baki is the only anime my 54-year-old dad likes to watch.
Depends on how they handle it.
Baki-Characters just getting completely annihilated just to be saved by meme-magic science adds to the over-the-top theme the series has.
Can't wait to see how Jack fucks himself up next time.
(Btw, did they ever address why he didn't yet die from his intense roiding? Wasn't that a major part of his character in the tournament?)
he literally became stronger than the steroids
Same but my dad is 61
Ronnie Coleman tried that, came back to him with a vengeance.
Remember that time Baki slapped some random kid's ass then took him to his secret basement to play "imagination"?
Roids are harmful because they suppress normal hormone production and increase sympathetic tone which stresses the heart. Jack was already suffering from malnutrition and like an anorexic woman might have already had a hormone deficiency. Remember he also had stunted growth.
If people in Baki could die of a heart attack, no one in this series would be alive for more than a volume.
There has to be at least one more Hanma sibling out there right? Unless the translations are super shit (which might be the case), Yuujiro when talking to Muhammad Ali in the flashback, says that he has kids basically but multiple times in the plural sense. Jack was an unknown child that he recently learned about which means he would be talking about Baki and at least one more person. When is the pure Hanma family fight arc coming?
I think it'd be a little silly to introduce a new Hanma at this point, even if he was weak like Jack he still probably would have shown up at one of the tournaments rather than being an asspull like Sukune who just so happens to be S tier but nobody had ever heard of him
tell your dad's to read the manga
Baki's face screams "the fuck is this guy talking about"
Make sense.
I've suggested it but he thinks the right-to-left writing is "chink shit"
Jack wasn't weak, he was just retarded. Literally his own downfall was his retard training mode and if he let his muscles rest he would be still be top tier fighter.
No he wouldn't, he would be fit but that's about it.
The reason he was so bad at fighting was because he was a fucking twig. He took all the classes and know the moves but his twig shit body couldn't work. So yes he would be fit if he wasn't retarded and if he was fit he would be a good fighter. The drugs didn't magically make him a good fighter, they just fixed his body from his retard way of training.
Being a good fighter wasn't good enough he needed to beat yujiro and to do that he needed to do the impossible, become an exception or die trying. He was also established to be a mad man.
Completely talking about a different point, but yes you are right that he needed to do some madman shit to get to Yuujiro's level.
The cast is made of superhumans, I think is normal they are able to survive things that would kill any normal man, even the initiated seem to be the next path of human evolution.
Just like Marco and Caracal from Usogui.
It's one of the few manly anime left. Everything else is clichéd trash written by geeks just repeating shit he saw in other manga, like Kengan.

How is sukune a asspull when oliva is 10 time worse in this regard ?
" hey i present you oliva, the second strongest man of the world and pne of yujiro's best friend none of you ever heard about ! "
No.
Also it happened in Bleach too.
The dude in the floor is not dead right?
My guess is that Itagaki forgot or the Hanma genes made them kill themselves doing something retarded
He actually kills and replaces Katsumi every couple of chapters
Don't forget "not black hair" Katsumi
And Kaio Katsumi
>Jack, is that you or the steroids talking?
>Baki... *glug glug glug* I am the steroids
Venom Katsumi
