Full text spoilers are out. I gotta head out but quick summary: Yuji beats on Mahito after the Resonance hit. Mahito splits into ball boys, Yuji kills a decoy, chases the real Mahito. Nobara muse on what to do next, Mahito-2 senses something nearby and grins, then runs away. Nobara chases him. They go underground, reaching Mahito-1/Yuji. Yuji sees Mahito-1 go for Nobara as she turns the corner, he thinks she doesn't know the real Mahito is going after her, and shouts for her to run away. Mahito gets to her and takes hold of the left sideof her face. Nobara remembers Mahito couldn't kill Nanami with one touch, and thinks "what will happen". Then ending with the short flashback.

Soooooo. Nobara showed she can sense and target the soul with that Resonance hit. Clearly, she's going to protect her soul with curse energy. She'll take damage, but not get meat puppeted. And then she'll counter with a Resonance on Mahito-1 for the double hit.

I find that I appreciate the early chapters more now that I have a better understanding of the characters and the world.

All things considered, Mahito had a better kill score than Sukuna, especially since he's taken out 3 named characters (Junpei, Mechamaru and Nanamin). Although Sukuna did kill the best boy so i dunno
