>What the fuck is GANTZ? Gantz is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku (of Gigant and Inuyashiki, his later works). Gantz tells the story of a teenager named Kei Kurono, among others, who die but find themselves brought back in perfectly healthy bodies and forced to participate in a "game" where they must hunt down and kill aliens. Those who die on missions are quickly replaced by others in following missions. >so what did i miss from the last volume Kurono 1 managed to get Tae and his schoolmates and teachers to a quiet hotel. But then he was suddenly summoned along with the rest of the Japanese Gantz fighters by a mysterious group who can control the spheres. At least he got to reunite with Kurono 2 and the rest of the gang. These unknown pricks put bombs in their heads again and forced them to attack an urban area inside the alien mothership, along with some of the alien Special Forces (among them the Elite Legolas who searches for Kurono), and then made them come back and sent them away randomly. Meanwhile in the surface, while Hiro was sent away, Tonkotsu sadly died offscreen. He finds her and breaks in tears, and promises revenge against these alien fuckers. And Tae, with Kurono away, managed to survive while an attack killed all her classmates and teachers, and then another kills her mother. Later she gets kidnapped by the alien forces, and while Kurono finds her in time he is unable to rescue her, and she's taken away to the mothership with a bunch of people. What awaits her there?
