Magical Girl Kakeru
mangadex.org
It’s an ecchi gender-bending magical girl web manga. Currently it has one volume scanlated--the translation is essentially comprehensible, even if it has frequent typos and strangely worded sentences.
The young girl Sora was chosen to join a team of teenaged magical girls to defend women from lecherous monsters. However, her eleven-year-old brother Kakeru accidentally takes her place, turning into a girl whenever he transforms. Though he wishes to defend the town, magical girls get their power from femininity, leaving him almost helpless. His only way to strengthen himself is to become more used to being a girl with the help of his team and little sister.
To me, magical girl GB tends to dilute the value of concept, because the transformation isn’t just temporary, it basically only happens during fights. This means they spend so little time female, it essentially has no effect on their life (barring the “can’t change back” arc before the status quo is restored).
Kakeru doesn’t have that issue because he can change back at will, but is incentivised to spend as much time as possible as a girl--adapting to the change is the main focus rather than the actual monster fights.
hello from /d/
I have quite a soft-spot for children (male or female) being mentored by big-sister figures. Rin and the other magical girl’s training of Kakeru give them a lot of cute moments together. I don’t have any interest in the loli fanservice, but I’m able to tolerate it, at least.
Now I'm gonna dump Chapter 6

Onii-chan Is Done For is going to be the cover for next month's COMIC REX, could it finally be happening?
So is this for something like a digital version under a major publisher, a print reissue, or an outright remake?
