If spoilers are as they appear to be, I think a rejection didn't come as a surprise because of a lack of focus, both romantic and character-wise, between Ishigami and Tsubame. Once the dust has settled down, I think most people can agree that Ishigami's growth that comes with accepting Tsubame's choice with a mature outlook is more important.
For what’s to come in the future, will Ishigami eventually be together with Miko? I think it's possible if Aka develops their relationship in their second year. The manga should have at least 9 volumes left, so there's plenty of room for development. The other thing that some people may wonder is if Prez and Kaguya will return as lead characters, or will Ishigami be driving the remaining story that’s left to tell. I think with this, chapters focusing on the student council gang will return with plot lines for Prez and Kaguya’s planning for their future and Ishigami and Miko shenanigans that improves their relationship further to whichever end Aka decides on.
I just wanted it to end, man. This arc was, ultimately, hot garbage and wasted everyone's time with a girl who was nothing but a plot device to clear Ishigami's reputation. No need to waste so much time on that and the worst part is that it'll keep going with a different character.
>implying this will get resolved in the second chapter of the new volume The dramafags are going to have a fest after the chapter releases.
Lincoln Williams
I warned you! I warned you, but did you listen to me? Oh no, you knew it all, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little doggy, isn't it? Well, it's always the same. I always tell them, but do they listen to me? Oooh, no...
If Ishigami snaps, at least it would be something interesting to see. He has been acting like a fucking simp in front of her for far too long. Tsubame needs to know the real him.
Eli James
Did anyone really think a motherfucking side character with zero paneltime would win? Miko was set up from the beginning Aka is not a master of subverting expectations
Austin Richardson
>aka miko love >miko love ishigami >ishimiko literally Meanwhile.... >tsubame love filler >tsubame find trying Kek.
Carson Green
I wanted to believe this arc would actually lead up to something in the end. Expectations subverted.
If this were another manga. I would say no, but since it is theoretically based on the original story, one would assume that since Prez was able to complete his challenge, Ishigami would have the same luck.
>Osaragi watching again If Aka doesn't let her at least talk to Ishigami to offer some comforting words, he's really going to be a hack.
Ian Perez
Okay it's definitely 80% a rejection chapter from the spoiler. Osaragi will realize something that her action is wrong. She will support lino 100% for Ishi happiness.
Jacob Stewart
I hope you enjoy a Miko vs Osaragi war 50-100 chapters down the line where miko realizes Osaragi has loved ishigami all along and some dogshit generic drama happens.
Cameron Hughes
He predicted a future plot in which what has already happened happens.
Charles Diaz
Osaragi just switching from one to the other would be bad writing.
Isaac Nguyen
She will tell everything, not only to ishi but also to miko. She will full support ishi x miko later. This will be a win for mikochads.
James Cook
>support Ishigami's happiness >doesn't go well >now can back up her friend instead
Gavin Richardson
I've been prepared for it since the moment we got Osaragi's reveal. Miko's task is tied to Osaragi after all. Miko needs not only to realize Osaragi's truth, but also to help her embrace her true feelings and overcome her traumas.
>If Aka doesn't let her at least talk to Ishigami to offer some comforting words so you can spam your favorite ship ?
Michael Baker
So, do you want Osaragi to fight miko? And we will get more chapters for Ishi romance arc.
James Reed
100% osaragi is gonna be the one to tell iino about the flower
Isaac Wright
Miko mustn't win Only leddit will celebrate if she does
Carson Evans
THK still coping I see...
Tyler Wood
That's not how it works. Osaragi supported Ishigami with Tsubame because she thought Tsubame is someone capable of making Ishigami happy. It wasn't only that Tsubame is what Ishigami wanted, but that Osaragi thought Tsubame could be what Ishigami needed, too. The way things are right now, with Miko the way she is, Miko's far from being what Ishigami needs and Osaragi should know this better than anyone because she's been Miko's caretaker for years.
Nah, Aka did. He's made two horrible arcs in a row and ever since dual confessions the manga hasn't been the same.
Jackson Thomas
So Aka can stop avoiding having Ishigami talk to Osaragi. You're telling me that someone as observant as Ishigami is going to see all this random attention Osaragi's been giving him, and he's not going to ask her what the hell is up with her? Instead he's been magically silent every time Osaragi's talked to him after that scene in the library. It feels like pretty clumsy writing, honestly.
No, I want Miko and Osaragi to be honest with each other and stand on equal ground as friends.
Oliver Baker
>3 months reinforcing that ishigami has improved himself >all tumbles down That would be bullshit, but wouldn’t put it past hacka hackasaka
Jonathan Gonzalez
Tsubame is crying almost exactly the same way as it happened in christmas after realizing she fucked up. I'm not liking this lads.
Jack Richardson
No, I think it'd make sense. Gave my reasoning in another thread but you don't go through months of stress and change and hope, lose the reason you were working so hard, and then go "okay well at least I bettered myself!" He should be pissed off. He was forcing himself to change into something he's not. I don't think that's even mentally healthy, let alone something we should be rewarding or encouraging via a happy ending to the arc.
If Ishigami were the type of person who received intrinsic reward from heavy self-improvement, he'd have self-improved already, because he'd fucking enjoy it, and you do things you enjoy. The fact that he had to put in effort to change himself indicates that he needs some sort of extrinsic reward. If he doesn't get it, what was the point? Just being "better" isn't enough to make him happy.

Maki is /ourgirl/, not this idealistic lawfag
Kevin Bailey
>/ourgirl/ Only ledditors write like that.
Adam Turner
>Aka regarding Tsubame: Her time will come God what a lying ass
Ryan Hall
False, it's a Zig Forums thing Idk whether reddit uses it or not because unlike you I do not frequent reddit
Tyler Harris
NICE GIRLS WILL NEVER WIN IN JAPANESE ROMCOMS.
Zachary Lopez
>I don't think that's even mentally healthy It's not, but that's the kind of manga this is, asl its main characters.
Cameron Gomez
This desu. Just end it already, Aka you fucking hack.
William Garcia
No, it's a recent crossboard/r*ddit thing, like all attempts at desperately trying to fit in.
Charles Turner
Aka should have watched mashifoni >cute, deredere senpai wins >not one but two retarded tsunderes lose
By that logic, Shirogane should be dating Momo, not Kaguya. And given how awkward things seem to be between both, I'm willing to bet Momo was as much of a false lead as Tsubame was.
