I am just curious how he is doing it, some of these episodes were leaked 1 day before release.

It's probably what said, some bored intern who doesn't give a fuck about consequences if he gets caught is leaking it. Not much to talk about, most people don't manually download their torrents so having someone leak the release a few hours earlier doesn't matter, and since most people don't watch it the discussion will be almost nonexistent, both about the person leaking it and the leaked show before the official release.

He's abusing a vulnerability with funimation's security measures to rip them very early. I don't know details but apparently it's not very hard to discover but most people don't do it because releasing episodes early is the kind of shit funimation could lose licenses over according to a friend of mine. To put into context how easy to discover it is, I asked that friend and he knew someone that knows about these kind of things and then that person found the exploit this uploader is using within an hour.

As for missingno, the most likely case is that he's a Funi intern. That's pretty great of him, but it feels too bizarre to get episodes before they air even on Japan, so I prefer waiting until the usual release time.

Funi's come a long way since their days with extremely bright colors and hardsubs, plus them being around is putting some pressure on CR. I don't mind them as they are today despite how much I still hate them.
