Generally speaking, if you you're trying to condemn something alluring to some people in a visual medium, you have to show that thing very sparingly. Otherwise that thing just becomes celebrated, and the message goes right over everyone's head. Look at how much hentai borrowed from Me!Me!Me!, despite the short condemning hentai consumption. Didn't matter. And that was a very purposeful case, where the animated short wasn't displaying something you couldn't see a million other places. Cuties is displaying sexualization of young girls that you don't see in other places. It's displaying something new to millions of people, while claiming to condemn that very thing. Not a very effective way to to fight child porn.
