I know so, I’ve witnessed people whining about not having anyone while looking for people out of their league while people they don’t find attractive throw themselves at their feet. People have unrealistic expectations of what they could have. In that way expectations are like memories, they are not realistic at all.

Do you seriously not understand why people don't want to date people who they don't find appealing? Being in a relationship isn't at all necessary and, in many ways, it's a negative that limits your ability to achieve other, more important, life goals. There's no reason to settle for an ugly fuck like you when you're better off just watching anime.

What's so odd about women in art school?

There are good practical reasons for settling down with another human. You probably still have a solid support network while you're young, but this changes as life goes on and your parents die and you lose contact with old friends. In such cases, things that might have been small problems once become major if you have literally no one else to rely on.
