The World God Only Knows

10 years today since the anime came out. What are Zig Forums's thoughts on this one a decade later?

i would totally bang Keima

best harem, but all harem are shit; so not a great achievement

Elsie is cute.
Also I really love character songs from the show.

RIP any chances of sequel twitter.com/angelfrench/status/1313494842463465473?s=21

A lot of good girls.
I stopped caring about the series when they revealed the whole time travel, cave thing.
I liked Yui.

>10 years
Damn I can’t believe it. Last time I was still lurking the manga threads. Fun times

it had a good winner

Should I watch or read this?

read

Read. Anime skips some of the arcs and doesn't even finish the story.

I still love Haqua

the girls are this manga biggest strenght they are all top tier

I love Haqua 2.0

Still so damn salty that they introduced dokuro late game, she immediately became best girl, ended up being the hot as fuck teacher that still calls him onii-chan, and lost to chihiro. Shit, haqua would've been a better winner than friggin chihiro.

the worst girl won.

who's the blonde? I don't remember her, is she an animeonly?

>is she an animeonly
Not really
>who's the blonde?
Magical girl Madoka

The anime? That means the manga series was way older than 2010? IIRC the manga started (aka we got scans) a couple years before the anime... God, I feel so old. I remember watching only a few episodes, never been a big anime fan, I mostly watch only anime-original stuff.
What I remember about the series is... It became way less interesting about half-way in, or maybe even before that, I don't remember it that well. I really disliked the fact that around 90% of the past girls never remembered Keima. Also, I didn't really like a few of the choices for the goddesses, but I don't remember the characters that well... Was there a crossdresser? I remember I really didn't like her, oh, and the midget, too. I can say that I really liked the series until the usual girl-hunting spirit, then the change in the plot really left me less and less interested. Well, at first I thought the whole goddesses idea was interesting, but then I realized it was way less interesting that what I imagined at first, and I really started to lose interest... I don't really remember the last saga/part that well, only that it was kinda meh at best, and really shitty at worst. If I have to draw a comparision, I'd say it felt to me like Shokugeki no Soma, started really great, but it got increasingly worse with each passing story arc, until overflowing into pure shit territory (well, SnS was way, way worse than Kaminomi in that respect... WAAAY worse) ...
The only good thing I remember from the second half (and I'm not sure it was already in the second half) was the brief Elsie/Haqua switch. I quite liked Haqua during that time. Oh, and I quite liked the ending. Not my favourite girl (it was Elsie), but still maybe the best girl/best choice for Keima.

Oh wait, now I remember. The past. The last saga was the past. Most of that stuff was horrible. Started a little interesting actually, with the teacher (was she a teacher?) and all, but even that part about her came out outta nowhere, her character was completely underdeveloped, so her interesting bits came out and were easily forgotten because we didn't really know shit about her... Yeah, the only good thing about the second half was the ending, really.
Like 90% of manga/anime series from Japan, it started great, but turned to meh/shitty in some parts pretty fast. But at least for once the author didn't pull a completely terrible ending.

>seeing all these 2010 anime turn 10 years old
>tfw I remember every single one of them
getting old sucks

They don't have shit in common.

Both are
>best girls
>semen demons
>diligent
>cute
>bakas
Also they have same VA

>best girls
Debatable.
>demons
Like 50% of the cast from TWGOK and 100% of the cast from Iruma.
>diligent
They're both different kinds of "diligent girls" really, this is really a stretch.
>cute
Like the rest of the girls from both series.
>bakas
I don't remember Haqua being that much of a baka, Elsie was the "baka" character.
>Also they have same VA
That's the only thing they have in common, but it's not really a fair point, japanese seiyu are uber-adaptable. I mean, IIRC she voiced even freaking Yukinoshita, and that one is like a completely different person from both Haqua and Ameri.
Your point is still moot.

The blonde one was my favorite

Sorry but you are just overanalyzing my post a bit. Also
> Debatable
Opinion discarded

>hot as fuck teacher that still calls him onii-chan
The lack of doujin on her is fucking criminal

Anime ruinied the manga threads.
Not that there was much to ruin by the end with how bad it got.
Like his new series though. Its super low-key buts it fun with a nice atmosphere. I'm glad he managed to finally crawl out of this post TWGOK hole.

I really liked Kenma and Kenma's seiyuu. He did Godly.
