Aizen doesn't actually plan shit out in detail. He has a general approach then just makes it up as he goes. And then bluffs and says everything's going exactly according to plan to troll people.

Except Aizen's plan would have still worked exactly as you described if Ulq didn't use Segunda. Basic release Ulquiorra kicked Ichigo's shit in without needing the second form. He only used it to really set in the despair factor.

He planned every minute detail of Ichigo's existence. The only surprise was Final Getsuga being too powerful and forcing the Hogyoku off him.
Besides, if Ulqui's first release was enough then why was Ultra Murderfhollow Ichigo able to effortlessly destroy the second release? It would've been borderline rape if he did it against the first release.
Kubo made AIzen's entire character "Batman Gambit" so he could have Urahara out-Gambit it in the end.
This is a pretty reckless decision that Kubo made for his most popular villain character (though nowhere near as bad as what Kishimoto did to Madara), since he makes him out to be the incredible mastermind and then has him turn into a tantrum-throwing mess when Urahara makes his move after FKT.
