>What the fuck is GANTZ? Gantz is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku (of Gigant and Inuyashiki, his later works). Gantz tells the story of a teenager named Kei Kurono, among others, who die but find themselves brought back in perfectly healthy bodies and forced to participate in a "game" where they must hunt down and kill aliens. Those who die on missions are quickly replaced by others in following missions. >so what did i miss from the last volume Hiro continues going nuclear, enters the alien city and begins a mass murder of ayys with his psychic powers. Revenge is accomplished in exchange of mental sanity, as he is overwhelmed by regret and voices of his dead girlfriend. The Resistance began saving people on the mothership, killing aliens and pissing in their facilities. Meanwhile, Nishi stayed with Takeshi and Gantz and found the weakness of the alien ship, but before being able to do something, Gantz gets hacked and strange alien bugs attack the apartment, blowing it up! Luckily Nishi and Takeshi manage to get out alive, but Gantz is dead! Meaning that the Resistance can't get teleported back, and are sent to a hell of CGI monsters instead. At the same time, Kurono 1 abandons the rescued group and goes back to the mothership with the alien woman, who begins to help him find Tae, who managed to survive the fall from the balcony and found a group of escaping humans. Sadly, they fall into a trap by a sadistic alien family and are captured again.

Can't stand this guy's writing style. He can draw a fine pair of T&A but his comic relief makes me want to gag. The story would not suffer without it, and his "comedy" is less funny than even the worst of German jokes. A singular pun in the entirety of his work in Gigant or Gantz would be infinitely more workable and funny that the stupid shit he tries to lighten the mood. >Haha future supermodel aliens running around in just underwear are uncontrollably obsessed with gas station ramen. So funny.
