What is the objectively best way to watch anime in the year 2020, anons?
Don't tell me you...s-stream?
How do you watch anime, Zig Forums?
I don't watch anime in 2020 anymore. I meditate and dream my own stories.
Netflix
>Don't tell me you...s-stream?
Alright, I won't tell you.
I don’t actually watch anime I just shut post
I stream like a normal person would
i only read manga now
i also stopped watching porn, i only watch hentai now
I only hoard anime. I find shows I want to watch, download them, then never touch them again.
Imagine not having enough money to pay a subscription and call it a day.
Mostly stream. Most people pirated and fansubbed because none of this shit was available. Now everything is readily available for cheap as fuck either through a sub or Blu-ray complete collections.
I live in a 2nd world shitty country, everything is region locked.
Netflix and CR
It's 2020 grandpa streaming quality is fine.
I download my anime because I'm not a retarded zoomer.
I watch every episode in 3 minute Youtube clips
>arbitrary region locks
>having to pay 5 different streaming services to be able to watch all animes
No thanks I'll stick with piracy
What's with the CR shilling in this thread?
Personally, I use handbrake in order to extract the subs and then copy paste them into a text file so I can read.
We're still in agreement that Mpc +madr+lav is the superior way to watch animu right?
Nyaa
i watch anime on YouTube at 480p, episodes split into multiple parts, mirrored image and dubbed
Idk about murica but here, considering you watch good shows and not everything that air, 2 services is enough. They even end up buying the same shit because there's not enough shows left for exclusivity. And it's $6 a month, 2 of them is still lower than the standard netflix subscription. Even 5 of them wouldn't cost that much.
cheap (You)s
>pay internet subscription
>everything else can be done for free
>???
>profit
Imagine paying Crunchy when you could be simping for a vtuber instead.
I torrent, bongland's rather penisy about copyright so I rent a seedbox.
Setting up a media server/player/seed box with a SBC or old desktop. Set up RSS feeds to automate your downloading of new episodes, then connect your server to your TV and stream shows to it.
I download shows I've already watched to 'rewatch later', then forget about them and find 5 or so old shows on 9anime to watch halfway through instead.
I actually still have my cccp setup with vlc and all that.
I stream some stuff just for guaranteed release times, but I still have torrent sites I use. I also will buy the full releases and/or manga depending on the situation.
I should probably transfer some of this codec stuff to the new pc... Thinking about it.
I've been meaning to set this old gaming pc up as a media server and use my new one for everything else I do. It would help with my studio work as well... thanks for the reminder, user.
Next time you consider taking the opinions posted on Zig Forums seriously, remember that in this thread half of the posters have admitted to using Netflix, CR, and pirate streams.
Do it.
based
i use a script with youtube-dl that gets my anime for me
Nyaa is my default tracker. qb torrent is my default torrent client. Then MPC-HC is my default video player but I'm using mpv more and more because of the youtube-dl integration.
Hope you have plenty of hard drive bays. I've filled up all my hard drive bays and I'm stacking externals on top of my home server now.
Disney+
Streaming.
