I'm having a really hard time feeling that Hikaru got what he deserved. I mean before the sudden reveal of murdering some random bodyguard offscreen, his "major crimes" were negotiating a better deal and "stealing" techniques, and being generally a dick.

Also the ring of light played zero part in the fight. There were moves or moments of suspense or anything that hinged on the spotlight. It was just.... there. This whole thing to me reads like he had a cool idea for their fight but due to COVID or whatever him and his artist half assed it.
