Okay biz, I did some digging into this and found it to be a mixture between PAMP Network and YFI. They key difference is the increased rewards for liquidity mining for longer periods of time. Is this coin about to pull a YFI when the platform goes live, since such insane yield farming APY’s are offered?
Next YFI?
Bump
I think it could, grabbed a bag ready. Been watching price since launch and it appears I caught the bottom quite nicely. Ready to see where this goes now.
Probably one of the best projects to come out this year
What's the difference between staking and yield farming. I don't get it
This biz's own YFI
Defi normies havent discovered it yet
My comfiest hold since trustswap
There are still some presale buyer wallets with a moderate amount of tokens that they seem to be dumping whenever the price increases, but they should be running out soon - after which the price should basically skyrocket as soon as this thing gets some traction out of exchange listings. I bought way too early but still holding rather comfily
Exactly what I’ve been saying user, this is completely reminiscent of trust swap in the beginning
Yield farming is lending a leveraged amount of any coin that can be used to collect transaction fees in a pool all the while being subject to the price appreciation of the coin while providing liquidity.
Team Info?
They want to go fully public soon, but one of the members of the team used to work for STA, his name is Ryan.
Exactly this. Once they run out the buy pressure alone will shoot this up x2
But how is that different than staking?
Like how would yield farming for Equus go. For staking i put x amount, convert it to the staking tokens, let it sit there with x percent interest and have to pay a transfer out tax. Where does yield farming differ?
Can't fucking wait for this to do a trustswap pump
You get the governance token which makes you a board member just like in a company.
If u browse biz hivemind and find it useful, you will appreciate equus hivemind too.
Besides yield farming provides a service:liquidity
While non POS staking is just a meme
This is a good meme I found awhile back explaining it through compound. Essentially you are providing liquidity by lending and then keeping the exposure to different pools which allow you to maximize profits and prevent impermanent loss while doing so.
From EQUUS:
>token mining is often denoted as ‘staking’ in the current cryptocurrency climate; to avoid confusion, we will continue using the term staking as a means to refer to our mining protocol.
Staking and unstaking EQUUS incurs as 5% total transactional fee, i.e. if you staked 1000 EQUUS into our liquidity mining dashboard, 50 of those EQUUS would be burned. This model allows us to remain deflationary as advertised, whilst still providing lucrative rewards to our miners
>Equus will have a staking interface which will allow investors to stake and unstake Equus for a daily reward. This is whereof the token will have a deflationary process as there is a burn when users stake and unstake Equus at a 5% burn rate, the mint process will allow 7.13% minting on EGT tokens over the space of a month (0.23% per day) with a multiplier of x2 after 30 days making a total of 14.26% per month (0.46% per day).
I just bought a bag. Thanks user
So it is like a dao, and the voting power depends on the amount of liquidity provided?
And the profit comes via the yield-farming-only tokens?
This is what I’m most excited for with this project. It’s completely decentralized and wherever the community wants to take it, it will go.
The devs even mentioned this as a possibility:
>In the future we plan on expanding the Equus/EGT whole ecosystem as the possibilities are endless on what we can achieve. One example is the possibility of creating our own decentralized exchange (DEX) where a token within our ecosystem can be used to refund gas-fees, if you stake Equus and receive EGT, you could potentially have access to trading on a DEX with no transaction fees
We're can I buy equus ?
scam, buy Bazingacoin instead
uniswap.info
Yes, essentially. The only thing that is different is that there is no issue of impermanent loss, meaning that all of your coins can be provided for liquidity maximizing exposure in all markets, unlike a lot of other coins.
Get the fuck in before staking starts
It's at the bottom, don't let them find out. Use this time to accumulate.
The year 2020, i am now an equuzillionaire
Just bought in. Seems about as close to base price as we will get. Should be a good ride, cheers OP
Holy based. Most anons don’t realize how early we are yet, once the platform is live and all of the governance is in full affect, we could take this anywhere, and the whales will be attracted for the massive APY. Take all of that into consideration, and we are worth far more than a mere one million mc. Can’t wait to see where the community and devs take this with the right marketing.
Some of biz doesn’t deserve this. But luckily there is a built in pleb filter with the factor of yield farming.
no website?
There's no information anywhere. It's a scam.
I still didn't fully get it. But I will give it a try and buy some. Is yield farming getting better or worse the more tokens you farm or is that having no impact?
wait what is the method here that there is no impermanent loss
WE GON MAKE IT BROS
JUST FARM DAT SHIT
Honestly, I don't want Zig Forums to get this one. I'd rather have it flourish without the autism. It could easily go into top 100 if the devs continue to deliver their promises (and so far they have so that's fucking bullish).
Right now I'm swinging other shitcoins and building up more before this thing takes off.
equus.dev
There are several audits, and one of the team members in from STA, this is common knowledge for people holding EQUUS. Liquidity is also locked, but keep trying to fud user. It’s worthless.
The more you farm the more in rewards you will get in return. Also, look up a few articles explaining yield farming. It’s a complex process in decentralized finance but it will make sense after a few reads, I had to do the same.
any eta when the actual marketing will kick in?
