People here are STILL confused about how to achieve arbitrary leverage ratios using deep itm options, so I'll post this yet again: the deeper itm an option is, the lower the leverage ratio becomes. With deep itm options, you can achieve 4x leverage, or 3x, or 1.125x, or whatever target you have. Example: 4th Sep $18.00 Call on VXX with VXX currently at 27.72 gives you a leverage ratio between 2.87x and 2.96x (deep itm options are still subject to time decay, just far less than otm options). You might select this strike when aiming for 3x leverage.
