Is the Fate franchise saved?

Is the Fate franchise saved?

Fuck gachas and fuck the peabrain gambling addicts that make them successful.

I appreciate the doujins though

Aye, can't disagree with that

yes

If whales want to fund the next anime, great.

>he doesn't have EX rank luck on banners

>that fucking gacha moved more money than small countries
Wtf

>absorbs 90% of all doujin output
No, fuck that shit.

FPBP.

It's a cursed blessing. You get good doujins but >80% of output is focussed on gatcha.

Nothing inherently wrong with that though.
As a loli connoisseur I say God bless 90% of all the new loli characters, and the attentions paid to the old ones.

Fuck this shit, Shirou was a 100000000x better mc than this retard from F:GO. I just wanna see more of my sword boi, it's sad that the only thing I have for it is Oath Under fucking Snow and a MAGICAL GIRL ANIME.

Almost as much as Bleach.

>all the lewd sluts that were created thanks to FGO
Fuck yeah, it is!

I don't and exhentai's refusal to allow tag blacklisting over a decade later is really, really fucking annoying.

What do you mean?
You can't use -parody:fate grand order ?

I enjoy it but I can see why others find it irritating.

Alright fine, I'll spoonfeed.

I can't wipeout the entire tagspace. I have to try to exclude every single fucking franchise one at a fucking time instead. I should have an alias variable at the very least I can call like
>-p:unoriginal
Which then filters everything in the parody tagspace != "Original".
It's one line of code. One.
This isn't a solution since the search string has a character limit. I can only keep a handful of worst offenders in there.

It saved Type-Moon. You could argue that FGO creatively bankrupted them, but at the same time TM was dwindling in popularity in Japan despite the ufotable adaptations. Nasu was writing flop after flop with the Extraverse and Mahoyo, bleeding cash as he went along.

People act like FGO was a massive success from the start, but the game was actually received terribly during its first release year and only sustained itself due to dedicated TMfags keeping it relevant. It was actually amazing to see the studio recover themselves after being on the brink of death multiple times.

Did you try adding "fate grand order$" to "My Tags" like I showed in the first part of my image.
The second part was only meant to show the filter working.

>210002316(You)
>Bait bait bait bait

Wait, did you want every gallery without "parody:original$" to get filtered?
Including "parody:original$" in your search term is the easiest way to do it. You can do a hacky-filter for manga and doujinshi using a combination of tag weights and filtering thresholds.

Shit meant to reply to

>the last story chapter was more than 6 months ago
Fuck this trash game.

Bleach makes more than fate? I know it has consistently great merch sales but that's still hard to believe since brave souls is still relatively niche.

>biggest Fate moneymaker is the gacha game
>longest running Fate media is the loli spin-off
H-Hey guys, r-remember the VN?

Gatchads are the primaries. Prismafags are secondaries and VNtards are tertiaries.
Boomers need not apply.

Yes

The list for WSJ titles is kinda skewed since "manga magazine" means all the WSJ copies sold, so it's not just Bleach. OP has something ridiculous like $20 billion

I do, SN and HA were great and I'm glad Nasu survived becoming washed up and bankrupt. Do I wish he'd go back to making good shit? Yeah I do but lets be honest vn's are a dying medium and only a few games make it to profitable, even once heavy hitters in that industry that studios would bid for adaptation rights have become obscure now, any attempt to revive something like Tsukihime or the og fate series is such a risk that I'm not surprised Type-moon took the easy route.

Tick tock Bleachtards. Established in 2015 and already $4 Billion.
God I fucking hate how big FGO is.

It's really sad how successful gacha is. Even fucking porn game makers are abandoning VNs for gachabucks.

as usual is nice people seethe about fgo

> Shirou was a 100000000x better mc than this retard from F:GO

I would say shiro is way more retarded than guda, especially if you played the VN. Guda is literally not a character

fgo is basically VN anyway, gameplay and story are 99% disjointed

As usual is awe people defend shit like FGO

Yeah, which makes Servant deaths in the plot feel absolutely pointless, even if they're super permanent.

i'm not really defending anything, fgo has tons of flaws, but if you are really comparing it to FSN, come on

The story of FGO is probably okay. What makes me seethe is the stupidly high profits and popularity due to gambling mechanics.
It's not a complain that's specific to Fate. Gaming as a whole is suffering from this.

Attached: franchisesthatfgosurpassed.png (259x925, 10.12K)

> Part 1 took 1.5 year to finish
> Part 2 is taking more than 5 years

They really don't give a shit about the story anymore.

No, it's not. 90% of FGO is fillershit that's completely irrelevant. And I don't mean just the events, both part 1 and 2 have the exact same structure of making the first 4 chapters completely pointless.

please understand, takeuchi wants 5/10 more ferrari

They're afraid to end it because Nasu said he is leaving after part 2.

If you told me 5 years ago that fucking eroge would become scarce I would have assumed that the internet died and we all went back to physical media.

FGO didn't start and it surely won't end the era of shitty mobage earning billions of dollars. Asia in general is massive in mobile gaming so something or other would be in its place if FGO didn't exist.
