Sequel 6 years later

Why is the industry like this?

What makes you think that an anime will always have a sequel? Be grateful that at least you got one.

I think they've learned their lesson. Recent anime gets their sequel announced as soon as the production committee see that it is profitable.
Slime, Shield Hero, Bofuri, etc

Re:Zero

The industry just has no business sense.

Don't forget raildex

>see sequel came out
>feel like watching some sci fi and slice of life
>guess i'll try watching the original
>first episode they're not being very subtle about him overcoming natural inability with his personal strengths but i'll see where this is going
>second episode he nothing personnels his duel opponent using his ninja skills
at least it didn't waste much of my time

>raildex
>S2: Oct 8, 2010 - April 1, 2011
>S3: Oct 5, 2018 - April 5, 2019
>8 YEARS BETWEEN SEASONS

This was the worst gap by far. They were lucky all the VAs were still alive.

tesr

The LN is ending so they made a 13 ep sequel as a parting gift. They even got a avg studio like 8bit to do it. Ofcourse they're will be a sequel series.

raildex/index doesn't count since they did Railgun in between it.

So much time passed between s2 and s3 that I developed a completely new taste in anime and lost all interest in the series upon return. I don't even know how someone can watch s2 and then enjoy s3 after all that time had passed, since you basically leave the target demographic in the meantime.

Ran out of creativity

That's so true. I used to like index, but... 8 years later, I just can't bring myself to watch it again and neither the sequel.

>and is still stuck in jewpress limbo.

Ez money when they need it

Because Disney remakes tainted everything.

Where's my sequel of Nozaki-kun huh?

What's sad is it gets even worse. He's beyond outright broken.

Is this what It looks like?

that's why it's so good

Didnt deserve a sequel at all

god i want to cum on maple's armpits

That's not what the issue with s3 was it should of been obvious that everything was quite rushed. They tried to cram 9 volumes into one season.

onii-sama can take all the time he wants
